The Cardinals are no longer a waiver wire defense. They have moved to the level of "start with confidence" every week. They were a yard away from adding another touchdown yesterday as well.I think they may be the first defense I've ever owned (I ALWAYS played DST by committee) where I will hang on to them through their bye week.im sticking with the cards this week
yes the cards were a great pickup 3 weeks ago. we are talking week 5 here...The Cardinals are no longer a waiver wire defense. They have moved to the level of "start with confidence" every week. KC is playing Baltimore. Tampa Bay has a bye this week.My top three this week would be...Minnesota - They are the top choice by far for me beacuse it's a tough WW defense week...but the Titans are much better offensively with Hasslebeck playing at this point. They could disappoint if he starts.Jacksonville - The will probably give up some points to the Bears, but the Jags defense isn't that bad. Chicago is always good for a few turnovers as well.Carolina - I'm digging a little deep here, but it's a rough week. Carolina had seven sacks against a Falcons O-Line that has been playing really well this season. Seattle is a tough defense, but their offense does turn the ball over. Because of Seattle's ball control style of game, this is also likely to be relatively low scoring, so Carolina will most likely not be penalized for points scored.TB vs KC- KC is turning it over ALOT
thanks I must have been looking ahead at the KC- TB matchup. agree that JAX and MIN could be good. hard to see CAR. They wont be able to stop lynch. You don't like the CINCI vs MIA?KC is playing Baltimore. I agree that they won't be able to stop Lynch, but I think they get enough pressure on Wilson to put up good sack numbers. I also think it will be a relatively low scoring game (20-17 style?). I actually think they are a really safe pick this week to get decent, but not fantastic point.I'm not a fan of Cincy, but I understand people going with them. Anytime that gives up 27 points to Cleveland is on my #### list for a while.thanks I must have been looking ahead at the KC- TB matchup. agree that JAX and MIN could be good. hard to see CAR. I am starting to wonder if any of these options are worth trying over my current DEF which is NE. I am scared of the DEN game this week but all these options are kinda lame tooI agree that they won't be able to stop Lynch, but I think they get enough pressure on Wilson to put up good sack numbers. I think New England is a weekly start. They are a pretty good team at generating fantasy points, even when they give up a lot of points (depending on your league settings of course)I am starting to wonder if any of these options are worth trying over my current DEF which is NE. Peyton will def have a harder time in NE than he did yesterday. OAK def is horrendous. especially the secondaryI think New England is a weekly start.
