Don't trust the Raiders DST this year. They will play up to the big boys and will get flattened by doormats. I'm looking at Buffalo hosting TENN this week. Looks like a great matchup and available in all my leagues.Howzabout your very own Raihhhduz hosting Gabbert and co.? Respectable enough last week in Atlanta, quite sure they are readily available in just about every league. /'jackthat's a whole nother thread. You want to start it?waiver wire defense of the week?![]()

I would think he definitely sees some passes thrown his way.Saints TE Thomas, anything to see here if Graham is out several weeks?
Given how much the Saints pass, the center and the guards might see some passes thrown their way.I would think he definitely sees some passes thrown his way.Saints TE Thomas, anything to see here if Graham is out several weeks?
Like any other site, if you don't log into the site for 3 weeks that team does not count in the percentages. Although 3 weeks is still inactive. The Yahoo numbers don't surprise me, since so many of those are inactive leagues...but I'm surprised that he's owned in so few on MFL. Interesting. He's owned in 31% of Yahoo leagues and 44% of MFL leagues. Can't imagine him not already being on a roster...William Powell.

You might want to find a new league.Josh Gordon.I just put in a claim for Gronk in one league lol
Are you in first place in your 6-team "Special" League?I just put in a claim for Gronk in one league lol
Spiller has a terrible schedule from here on out, especially during weeks 15-16. He plays MIA twice, Seattle, etc.You may have some of these guys or they may be rostered, but either/or, if maybe:
- Felix Jones, obvious, right? Then why do I have the feeling Tanner's the guy to get here.
DRichardson
Tanner
William Powell
Chris Givens - why not more talk here?

Felix cramped and left the game for a series or two IIRC. Not sure that's how useful that split will be going forward. For those interested in F.Jones and/or Tanner: Here is the breakdown of touches once Tanner started to get involved.Felix Jones: 13 touches: 12 runs (one resulted in a penalty) and 1 pass target.Tanner: 9 touches: all runs. What I can gather from this: FJones will get more touches, but he will not be the complete head honcho (yes, small sample size). The stats above indicate a 60/40 split.
True, but F.Jones does what he does--he cramps, he gets injured, it's what makes felix, felix. Something that should be considered when he is being scooped up. For the record, if T.Richardson is out, i'd take Hardesty over Felix.Felix cramped and left the game for a series or two IIRC. Felix for sure...Pick up and start Felix or tanner this week?
Inital report yes but MRI must have shown more.CBS Sports' Jason LaCanfora reports Kevin Kolb will miss "six weeks or more" with multiple injuries sustained in Week 6.They were negative, but he's sore as heck. Bruised ribs and sternum, hurts to even breathe right now.As for Skelton add...
Rotoworld:
Deep in the fourth quarter, Kolb got planted to the ground by two Bills and was in a ton of pain. It certainly had the look of a rib fracture as he was helped off. Expect the results of Kolb's X-rays to be revealed by Monday afternoon at the latest.
Last year against TB when Murray was out:Felix 26 touches (runs and targets) and S.Morris 1465/25 split and keep in mind that this was the first time S.Morris had any action for the year.I venture that a 65/35 split is a safe bet in favor of Felix Jones.Felix cramped and left the game for a series or two IIRC. Jones was the starter at the beginning of last year and he lasted through Game 4 or so?I think it was Game 6 that Murray really took over.Tanner just looks like the better runner to me and basically it's a flier that Felix could get dinged but a flier with some chance.Assuming Murray misses significant time I'd much rather spend pennies on Tanner than go all out for Felix Jones. Felix has shown he can't stay on the field in this game already.
miami will be a bottom half run d by season's end. take that into consideration, and he has a great schedule. and he's matchup-proof, imo.Spiller has a terrible schedule from here on out, especially during weeks 15-16. If I had Greene, I think I'd be extremely thankful for the breakout and be trying to trade him for max value right about now.Shonn Greene, he was dropped last week. Added question...p/u Greene or Felix.Greene is who he is but gets the touches and if Murray is out for a while Felix could be this years "late" WW darling behind Morris.
it's my prediction. they got chewed up this past weekend. they were good over a small sample size of 4 weeks. doesn't mean they will be good for 17. this thread/board is all about making predictions. not sure what you don't understand about that. 90% of the recommended pickups in this thread will prove to be worthless.Spiller is not matchup proof considering how buffalo uses him with F.Jackson around. Mia being bottom half is just a conclusion. I can say they will be top 8 for kicks, and it would hold as much water as your statement.
what you fail to understand is that there are different "types" of predictions. Your statement, if you can look back at it, simply states "they will be bottom half" and gives NO reference as to why. Now, if you back it up with some sort of evidence, or reasoning, then perhaps it would be credible. But then again, it does not mean you are not right, but reasoning always helps. I point to Spiller not being matchup proof currently. Why? Look at 2 weeks ago.(or i could have simply said "Spiller is not matchup proof" and not told you why)---get it?it's my prediction. they got chewed up this past weekend. they were good over a small sample size of 4 weeks. doesn't mean they will be good for 17. this thread/board is all about making predictions. not sure what you don't understand about that. 90% of the recommended pickups in this thread will prove to be worthless.Spiller is not matchup proof considering how buffalo uses him with F.Jackson around. Cedric Peerman. He may not be relevant without an injury to BJGE, but he's making a push for more playing time. He has had 6 rushes this year, 4 of them for 7 yards or more. He had 8 catches last week, 5 of which were for 1st downs. Scott is out for the year. Leonard got hurt last week. BJGE has been extremely average, hitting 4 ypc in only the first game. Peerman only needs an opportunity.
I was scrolling down to see if someone had mentioned more on Peerman, and I think you nailed it. Benjarvus is simply a warm body. I think Peerman will see a lot of catches with Scott done for the year.did the same. Felix cant stay healthy nor is a bellcow type back. Felix has the history of not holding up for the long haul. Tanner is the pick here.'Ace zero1 said:I was unable to get Felix jones but I snagged up tanner since I didn't get Felix.
Kolb is out this week and several more ... but doubt Minny is availableCassel is on bye so you can't play a DST against him this week ...but reports are he might be back behind center in Week 8 when they play Oaklandgona have to monitor kolb and cassel to see if either are out.. tampa paid off well this weekDallas, maybe.waiver wire defense of the week?
I went back in time to the preseason when he was available in my leagues and grabbed him. Lot of suggestions about a month old here.used daryl richardson with my waiver

So stash Tanner for about a month from now when the cramping is an issue again?Felix cramped and left the game for a series or two IIRC. Not MendenhallSo apparently Felix Jones was picked before Mendenhall, C. Johnson, Matt Forte, and Ray Rice in the 2008 NFL Draft. Did not know that.
