Week 7 Waiver Wire (2 Viewers)

I will make a couple of TE calls ahead of time since the thread is here.

Crockett Gillmore - Got off to a nice start before getting injured. The ravens are short on weapons in the passing game and SF is ripe to yield some points through the air.

Jordan Cameron - Was surprised he got dropped in a deep league and even more surprised no one has picked him up. New coach was a TE! I just think he's talented enough that the numbers are coming.

I wonder how Allen, Bibbs, Wilson, Montgomery turn out. We're dealing with a bunch of guys who have been getting opps because starters have been dinged. Owners tend to pass on these situations because when starters or others come back the roles disappear, but sometimes they can carve out a role regardless. CJ Anderson was an example of that last year.

Picked him up this week for the very same reason. Guy dropped him and I figured the offense has nowhere to go but up. And with Campbell an ex-TE and ex-TE coach, the situation for Cameron at least looks promising.

STL D.

On bye.

Next two matchups: CLE, SF

At home.

That plus pounding Gurley, time of posession = fantasy goodness.

(Obligatory)

OMG!

He's available in your league?!?!

Amateur!!!

He's owned in all 537 of my SUPER-PRO BAD### REAL leagues!!!!!

I think I will take a running shot at Turbin this week, he seems to be taking that situation over in Cleveland. What that's worth I have no idea.

I think I may add Chase Daniels. I don't think Alex Smith will get the hook yet but if KCs keep losing something gotta give.

I did this, yesterday. Thinking same.

He did spread it around today but without Charles they need someone who will sling it. Not some time of possession grind it out type QB

When this happens Alex will become career backup IMO

they had 9,10,11 carries and he was least productive?
First time out the gate and they gave him a big share. That can mean next time they give him a bigger share. He obviously did not run away with it, but it was vs Denver. If they want him to steal the job they may give him another shot and if he succeeds well then he won't be on my bench but on the WW where he will be up for grabs. OTOH it's a bad run D schedule after that, isn't it? But no big names are jumping off the page anyway right now.

eta - my CBS feed also has this:

[Duke Johnson] suffered a shoulder injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against the Broncos, and he will have an exam Monday, ESPN.com reports. He rushed nine times for a team-high 38 yards and caught three passes on four targets for 18 receiving yards before exiting.
- note, Cbs often has unreliable information but there is that.

Being a Seahawks fan, I have seen pretty much every carry that Turbin had while he was in Seattle, and he is underwhelming to say the least. I would be very surprised if he makes anything of his potential opportunity.

Michael Floyd could have been dropped in 12 team leagues. He came into the game with only 8 catches for just over 100 yards on the season.

A.Wilson. Maclin left the game with a concussion.

L.Moore has td's in back to back games

Amendola.

Malcolm Floyd - if Keenan Allen misses any time and Stevie Johnson remains sidelined

Not a great option, but how about Brian Quick?

The Rams passing game is not a gold mine, but is ripe for someone to take control. Britt and Cooks have disappeared yet again, and can't see Tavon Austin continuing to be the focal point. With the bye week, Quick likely had a chance to get even healthier.

Their schedule the rest of the way is really tasty.

Here's their next 5:

Cle

SF

@Min

Chi

@Bal

And honestly, the only weeks I wouldn't feel super confident in them are weeks 12 &13 when they play Cin and Ari. Week 16 they get Seattle, but their schedule is about as good as it gets the rest of the way.

Maybe. IIRC Britt went from 12-13 targets to 4-5 targets last couple games and he had no catches. He has never been a good part time player

I have Broncos D and kicker. I dropped DeAngelo Williams (Le'Veon Bell in my roster) to get Rams D. There is no other player to drop in my team.

In other league, I'm in doubt if I drop Abdullah or Duke Johnson. I will have to pick a Defense or a Kicker.

Defenses avaiable: Falcons D, Eagles D, Redskins, Vikings D, Steelers D, Bucs D, Raiders D, Cowboys, D, Colts D, Browns D, Jaguars D, Saints D, Chargers D and 49ers D.

Kickers avaiable: Coons, Catanzaro, Lambo, Gano, Hopkins, Hocker, Myers, Carpenter, Folk, Zuerlein

Remember that old SNL skit with Dana Carvey as Bush Sr.? "Dan Quayle ... still ... gaining ... acceptance." That's how I feel when I read people pimping Quick. Wake me up when he actually catches a pass.

he's terrible
He really is a below average one trick pony receiver. He drives Rivers crazy too. The more volume he gets, the more he gets exposed.
First time I watched a San Diego game in awhile yesterday and Floyd was running the wrong route a lot. Rivers was yelling at him all day.
yeah his heart isn't into it anymore. He will not replace Allens production if Allen is out

Need a K and D this week as well.

Looking at Novak, Lambo or Zuerlein

D, Looking at Washington (vs Tampa) or Pittsburgh (@KC)

I don't know his ownership % so don't know how many have grabbed him, but I think Josh McCown has to be considered a weekly option or streamer at a minimum.

Agreed. Actually Hoyer and McCown are both available in one of my leagues and both worth the stash (although in my case I only need them on week 10, barring another Luck injury). Hoyer in particular has a very nice schedule moving forward.

With Taylor still iffy to return (and on bye the following week), I'm dropping Peyton to pick someone else up for the next two weeks. Put in my claims for Hoyer, then McCown. I think McCown might be a better QB in a vaccuum (and there's less of a risk of him getting benched mid-game), but he has two tough match-ups the next couple weeks. Hoyer's schedule looks a little better. Still, both have put up points in just about every week where they played the majority of the game this year, so I'll be happy with whoever I get.

Not sure about that. It appears to be a full blown 3 headed RBBC at this point.
