Didn't see a thread specifically for this kind of wide open look

We have a few uncertain situations where guys are stepping up

Tampa- Shepherd, Kam Johnson, Tez Johnson

Rams- Whittington, Tutu Atwell

And in this mix we can probably add guys like Boutte and Burden but mainly thinking about the guys stepping in for Puka/Egbuka

Any insight from homers or beat writers? Any informed speculation about it?

My eye test is drawing me toward Kam Johnson but Evans is back and dont know about the pie, that game just feels shootout-y

I would think you might want him over the others you list

What you are looking for is some insight on Wide Receivers that have a chance to hit the Top 20-25 even though they are being projected well below that

The Tampa situation depends on if you prefer a high floor or a high ceiling.

Shepard will play the slot and he has a good connection with Baker dating back to college so he’ll likely see more targets than either of the Johnsons.

The Johnsons, however, probably both have a greater chance for a long TD on a deep ball.

I’m more of a high floor guy so I’d lean Shepard, but if I had to pick one of the Johnsons I’d lean toward Bo Nix’s brother, Tez.

Keep C. Otton on the radar in the flex if Evans is out or limited

Could actually see a couple other TEs being flex worthy. Z. Ertz as Deebo and McClaurin still not practicing and that game is going to be a shootout with Dallas. H. Fannin against that terrible MIA D (and with wind gusts 50+...throw short).

I noticed Zay got more touches but I guess Wilson was also out of that game partially so unclear to me. Probably not a good play either guy.

Yea I'd steer clear. Especially if Murray is back. It would be the McBride show. He might get 20 targets.
