Week 8 Final (1 Viewer)

I need to look back, but it sure seems like there are a lot more zeros scoring than in previous years at this point. A quick revisit on draft position shows that 4 spot was the best to have. there are only 3/15 4 spot drafters booted so far. Contrast that with the 15 spot, where there are only 2 remainingBDSL - Jennings scored a lot more than 14.8, so Team Legacy is out. Wannabee get's his 5th immunity this week, despite his highest scoring player(witten) on bye. WE - Fullback Fro, as we knew, is out. Old Milwaukee gets the last safe week. Since there are only 14 teams, week 10 starts the 2 week periods for bumps.IDP - Jene Bramel almost managed it, but he goes down. Duke 1948 gets his 2nd consecutive safe week.MBSL - Reaper, Wdcrob, and Radballs are the victims here. Safe next week are The Ref and Glumpy(again)PDSL - Bostonfred, Bri, MOP, and Joffer are the bootee's. Yudkin, Krsone21, and a double by Blue Kun are the immunity holders for week 9.SSL - Team Legacy, Tex, Capt Hook are out in I-III. IV finished in a tie.Jevy has only one unused score, a big 2 pts by Car D. Footballhead has a couple over that, with Kitna's 13 being the first on the list. Jevy is gone.Immunity holders are Family Matters, Redzone (both for their 3rd straight), Pictus Cat, and Old MilwaukeeWSL - None got enough, so Rzrback, Radballs, Jmills are all done. Frank Black, Old Milwaukee, and Oldfatguy are the 3 immunity holders.Staff IDP - David Baker is done.

BDSL - Renesauz is low man, with Jennings(-4.7) to go. If he can get 14.8, then he'll survive, as Team Legacy is done.WE - Fro is done and done.IDP - Jene Bramel is low man tonight, and is depending on Lee and Moss(-1.5) [Although I'm rudely hoping for nothing from Moss, as him to score nothing (and some luck from my 3 guys) to keep my undefeated status in my Zealot's league. :lmao: ] Chaos Commish is about 12 pts up, so it's possible.MBSL - Zero's from QB, RB's, are less of a problem than zero's from WR's. This claims Reaper's team, who is done. Valence is almost out, but still has Scheffler going. Radball 5 pts up has Crosby(1). One of the 2 are going home. WDcrob is on the outs in 2.PDSL - Bostonfred, Bri, MOP, and Joffer are low men.BF as Henry. I'm 5 up, with only the Denver D(-13) to save me. If Henry plays, I'm done. Bri and Joffer are out. MOP needs 12 from Crosby, as the next team up is done (he'd lose tiebreakers). SSL - Preds, Tex, Capt Hook, and Jevy are low men here. Preds has Favre and Graham still to go. There are 3 people bunched at around 25 pts up, so it's definitely possible to survive. Easy, however... Tex and Hook are two more that have no hope, however. Jevy has Driver, and a couple right above him. The done target is 6 to survive, as Footballhead is done.WSL - Rzrback, Radballs, and JMills.Rzrback needs a huge amount from GB D. Radballs needs even more from Stokely. And Jmills needs so even more. All three are likely to be done.
Staff IDP - David Baker is most likely a goner, but he has a chance with Cutler(-11.45) and Gold(-6.75), so we'll see.

No way the Packers defense pushes me into safety. Earlist finish ever for all my teams. Enjoyed the drafts though and will look forward to matching wits with y'all again next year.

Best of luck to all the survivors. :kicksrock:

that QB combo of Kitna/VY sure looked good after i drafted it :kicksrock:

QB: Kitna has not done a whole lot, and he is the only QB I have who is still starting. McCown and Green both got hurt.

RB: When we drafted, I drafted Michael Turner, figuring there was a chance he would be traded. He wasn't. Washington, Faulk and Moore have done next to nothing save a couple of games. That basically leaves MJD for me at RB, and he isn't a full time starter.

WR, Coles has had a few good games. Clayton, Porter and Brandon Jones have done very little, Caldwell and Parker have hardly played.

TE, Gates has been a one man wrecking crew, especially in the TE friendly scoring. Pope has done next to nothing, but he got a TD when Gates had a bye.

Kickers have been decent

Defenses have been pretty good considering they were the last 2 defenses on the board.

Considering everything, and looking at this team, for the life of me I don't know how I have lasted so long.

I asked this question elsewhere, but since Reunion talk has surfaced here, how are the playoff positions determined? Doesn't points scored matter for some of the spots, regardless of record?

thanks

Well if we are heating up - then I'm sure to burn in the fire. My team is not working as intended........ Anyway.........PLAYOFFS6 teams make the playoffs.BYE to both division winners and then throw out the W/L records.Remaining 4 are decided by TOTAL POINTS scored (top 2 from each division).

Tom Brady is keeping me above water.

the past three weeks, I have logged a TOTAL of 29 points from my WRs.

:homer: :bag: DBranch, MClayton, TGlenn, BJohnson, EKennison, GLewis :bag: :bag:

Wow, what a way to get eliminated, in BOTH LEAGUES... Last play, in OT, a bomb from who else... FAVRE -- beats me in SSL... to who else...JENNINGS -- beats me in BDSL..

Has there ever been a more painful play than that in the history of Survivor leagues?

I think I'm alive in PDSL3 through a combination of dumb luck and charm. Minus the charm occasionally.

I liked my team before the season. I was worried about it at first. Now they just confuse me.

Hooray?

I noticed that this morning, Favre saved me literally in SSL1 with that play. Without it, I woulda lost to you on the tie-breaker.Sucks to go out that way, but on the flip side, it was a nice surprise since prior to the OT I thought I was toast!

Still alive in SSL3, BDSL, and the FBG contest...not for RB's or QB's though...got lucky and hit on some WR's....it can't last too much longer.

Double immunity and 1st and 2nd in the PDSL leagues for the week! Woo. Still need to catch up to Tag in total points. I guess that Brady kid is pretty good though. Hopefully I win immunity for the 3rd week in a row with that team so I don't need to worry about Brady's bye week.

Other leagues... not so well. Hanging in there though.

Anybody notice who survived right on the cutoff this week of the FBG contest?? LOL.. NO QB, only 3 from Morency at RB... what a week...

Woohoo my first immunity in PDSL3 atleast I know I will survive atleast one more week. How long do the immunities last, just through the bye weeks or further?

Week 12 will be the last awarded. Week 14/15 and week 16/17 are two week periods that don't have anyone safe.

Well now, top point scored. Thats a first for me. To think this is my third imunity and LT has been only half himself so far. TJ Housh and Joey Galloway with Dallas Clark and Greg Olson has been $$.
