Week 8 Start/Sit help. (1 Viewer)

0.5 PPR redreft 12 team currently 2-5

Team atm with a few thoughts?
QB Dart, RB Hall, Allgeier, WR AJ Brown, Ebuka, Flex, QJ, K, Reichard, Def Colts.

RB do I play Allgeier who might get a lot of touches if the Falcons blow away the dolphins and Bijan maybe sits the 4th qtr
Or do I play Woody Marks decent match up?

Flex QJ or Mooney

TE Kittle has been out since week 1 he come back went straight into the line up and gave me 0.0 pts. This week he plays another team that dont give up points to TE. I do have Mason Taylor who is playing a team that give up points to the TE I can swap him out but the Jets offence was just terrible. Shultz is on free agency and with Collins trending not to play he is also a possability.

Last but not least.
DO I JUST DUMP FIELDS onto the Waiver wire or do I hold him and see if he either a/ is dropped or b/ plays the Bengals and lights up?

I'd go with Marks. I'm worried about that since the offense wasn't exactly spectacular with Collins and if he misses the game it's going to get worse. That might end up being a good thing for Marks, though, if that means the Niners blitz a bunch or something and Stroud has to look for short passes. That's where Marks does a lot of his damage anyway. They might try to run the ball more too with both guys. If you'd rather trust the more functional offense and the better matchup, it's probably Allgeier but I think the path to Marks getting more touches is better so he's my choice. It's close enough that I have no problem with you deciding on Allgeier instead, though.

Johnston for me. Mooney has the better matchup but is less likely to score a TD in my opinion and that's kind of what you need with either one for a truly valuable point total. It's a lot closer than the rankings everywhere seem to think, though.

Kittle. I know the matchup isn't good but he's one of the best TEs around and the Niners are severely lacking in people to throw to. I don't trust Taylor even in the good matchup. The Jets are a mess. Schultz is an option but I don't think you bench Kittle for him regardless of the matchups. I don't think Schultz's injury situation is a concern but it's something to keep an eye on as well.

Dropping Fields depends partly on who else is available. Relying entirely on Dart scares me but if there are other okay options available I'm fine dropping Fields. If you can drop him for Flacco, for instance, I'd do that in a heartbeat. If the only options available are Rattler, Wentz, and Gabriel or something then I'd probably hold Fields and hope he can figure out how to play football.

10 Team. Full PPR. We start 2 RB, 3 WR, 3 RB/WR/TE Flex. No defenses or kickers. 5 bench spots and no IR spots. My RBs are Bijan, Dobbins, JCM, Marks, Vidal, and Hampton. Between bye weeks and injuries, I might need to pick up one of Brashard Smith, Monangai, Spears, Allgeier, Shaheed, Washington etc. and with the rest of my roster the only guy I can drop is Hampton. I'd have to try to get him back closer to when he comes back but bye weeks will be mostly over by then and hopefully the other injured guys will only be out a week or two. Is Hampton an option to drop in a league with such...

Thanks, your opinions really helped me make decisions this week, I have dropped fields and picked up Darnold so can mix between him and Dart. I will have a look at your and give my opinion but I don’t think I’m nearly as well educated as you

Full PPR. We don't start any defenses or kickers and I never hold multiple of those anyway. I really want to pick up Smith since I keep hearing that he's going to get more touches. My RBs are Bijan, Dobbins, JCM, Marks, Vidal, and Hampton. Looking at my roster, the only two options to drop would be Marks or JCM. Those would be the only two options to drop until next week when I could potentially drop Hampton (no IR spots and really short benches, I just saw he's still in a walking boot so I'm considering that but am trying not to). None of my WRs are droppable. Should I drop Marks or JCM...
