I would grab Ajayi NOWI'm in a short bench league: I have the 11th claim.
Ajayi - Moncrief - Coleman - Adams - Montgomery all available.
Otherwise i rank them Montgomery, Coleman, Adams, Moncrief

I wasn't asking--I was commenting. Calm down.Important Note about the Shark Pool:

I have no chance at him he'll get grabbed this week for sure. I assume Montgomery and Adams also get claimed.I would grab Ajayi NOW

Ajayi was on the bench after 200 yards last week? Fail.I'm in a short bench league: I have the 11th claim.
Ajayi - Moncrief - Coleman - Adams - Montgomery all available.
I don't know if Thursday's game will be typical, but given how well it's working, I could definitely see him carving out a Riddick/Woodhead type of role for himself. I sure as hell don't see Jackson or Davis posing much of a threat. Maybe when Starks comes back, but it's not like he's ever been a workhorse either.Guaranteed touches? Only if they keep him as primary RB. How long do you expect that? Adams is going to be on the field, you can't say the same for Monty.
His targets so far this year.Bad analysis is bad. Jody has, what, 4 or 5 TDs in 6 games? Give me a break.
Rodgers targeted Adams because he was the only one getting single coverage all game and the 2nd/3rd CBs on the Bears are awful. It was a nice game but Adams has major consistency issues and he's not going to face that weak of coverage many times the rest of the year.
Montgomery had 10 catches FFS. The Bears are just bad and ran into a buzzsaw on a short-week.
Well yeah, him and moncrief and dorsett too. Allen always seems to be dinged up tho and Luck loves him some TEDoyle's value will decline once Allen returns.
Nobody picked up Ajayi after his first 200 yard game?I'm in a short bench league: I have the 11th claim.
Ajayi - Moncrief - Coleman - Adams - Montgomery all available.
I'm a bit intrigued by this guy and interested in hearing more about him given the dearth of WR options that aren't on rosters already. On one hand, I am not sure how many targets he'll get after Evans gets his weekly 10-15, but it's not like there are a ton of receiving options beyond Evans - and Winston will obviously throw the ball more than 20-25 times a game.Russell Shepard -- was an elite HS athlete but didn't do much in college and was an UDFA in 2013. Has been a career special teams player and, while he looked good last week, he only played in 36% of the offensive snaps. Doubtless he'll get more opportunities going forward but how many?
Free agency and he's still there. Only 4 bench spots. QRWTFFKD - I didn't want to drop Gio Bernard for him or Fuller. I have no chance at him this week. I will be likely trying for Adams/Montgomery/Moncrief.Ajayi was on the bench after 200 yards last week? Fail.
Actually, here's a good #protip: If you have an end-of-bench scrub you're planning on dropping for your waiver claim, drop him now and pick up CJ before tonight's game. You can always change your mind tomorrow and put in an actual waiver claim for whoever else you want. And if he does blow up tonight, you already have him for free.
I actually can't follow my own advice. The guy I want to drop (Garcon) spot-started for me yesterday, and Yahoo won't let you drop a starter for a guy who hasn't played yet (I assume because that could theoretically mean I'd be using the same roster slot for two different starters, even though there's no way CJ could start for me this week).![]()
What I did yesterday. Definitely with that Detroit game in mind. Not starting this week in Denver but wouldn't be surprising if targets filtered his & Griffin's way against them with DB's locking on outside. Biggest concern is obviously Osweiler flopping hard during any game.
This is a good one, particularly for PPR. Jones seems to have nine lives with Gruden, but doing a good job of to fumbling his way onto the bench. Whether it's Jones or Kelley as the grinder, Thompson seems to have carved out a Vereen-type pass catching role that can also run between the tackles.Chris Thompson.
Depends on how short a bench and your scoring system. Ajayi has had two huge games, but can he sustain with teams having a few weeks of tape? Put the ball in Tannehill's hands and wait for the mistakes.I would grab Ajayi NOW
Otherwise i rank them Montgomery, Coleman, Adams, Moncrief
As the evans owner in a 16 team dyno, I traded to the top waiver pick to get shepard. I need some depth and in this league you need to jump quick or lose out. I had picked up shorts thinking he'd be the 2, clearly I was wrong.I'm a bit intrigued by this guy and interested in hearing more about him given the dearth of WR options that aren't on rosters already. Were you? I know Shepard outperformed him this past week, but are we certain he's locked in as WR2?As the evans owner in a 16 team dyno, I traded to the top waiver pick to get shepard. Hey I dont want to rain on your parade but have you watched the giants this year? They CANT run block. And even if they could, Ben Mac isnt calling running plays. They MOST definitely will NOT change into the Cowboys run first team coming off a bye ..this year's D. Johnson is wishful thinking , Im afraid...Crystalsteam99 said:PERKINS! If you got bench space stash him now. When the Giants come out of their Bye week, after that horrible game against the Rams,Perkins will be getting A LOT more involved in the O. They need a spark, and he is it. Jennings is toast and Rainey is nothing special. You can prob wait and grab him after the Giants bye. He'll be this years D Johnson IMO(But not quiet as good) I'm stashing him in leagues where I can. In 3 weeks he will be the hot add. I'm hoping on this train early!
Shepard has deserved to be the WR2 since going back to last year. He's a good route runner with strong hands.
What concerns me is the return of Cecil Shorts and Louis Murphy. In every opportunity Shepard has shown he deserves more playing time - yet has never gotten it. They also talked about wanting to get him the ball because Kelly cut him last time. Does this mean he'll see these opportunities going forwards for was it a 1 game thing?
McAdoo has actually called quite a few run plays in the RZ. It's killing Eli owners like myself so I've certainly noticed it.Hey I dont want to rain on your parade but have you watched the giants this year? They CANT run block. Giants havent had a decent running game in several years now and it wont happen this year either.you are better snagging Chris Thompson if he's on the waiver wire in your league.
Remember back when it used to take WRs 3 years to become fantasy relevant???I don't know if I can ever trust this guy. Hard to imagine that the light has all of a sudden come on as opposed to having a good game here and there.
PFT says deal isn't currently imminent. But that would be interesting. Smelter to the roster?Torrey Smith is going to be an Eagle
Yup, although that 3rd year WR rule was dispelled long ago - guys who hit often did in year two or year four just as much as year three. Nowadays WRs come from pro-style offenses and hit the ground running. But I digress - Patterson has the measurables, but hard to imagine that he's honed his craft at this point.Remember back when it used to take WRs 3 years to become fantasy relevant???
Shepard is not a rookie. This is actually his 4th year in the league and has been a special teams captain for the Bucs the last two years. I know little about him but he seems to be fools gold to me.Desperately need to pick up a WR/TE this week to avoid starting TWilliams @Denver. Here are the claims I put in:
My logic: I'm intrigued by Shepard, but I've seen too many cases where a WR (especially a rookie) has a good game out of nowhere, everyone gets excited about his potential, and then he promptly disappears. This year alone we've seen Sharpe and Eli Rogers seem to have carved out roles for themselves before falling off the face of the earth. As for CJ, his role has been expanding week to week, and he has a great match-up against the Lions (worst fantasy D vs TEs).
- Adams (but I won't get him)
- Fiedorowicz
- RShepard
Wow, had no idea. Yeah, that makes me even less interested.Shepard is not a rookie. This is actually his 4th year in the league and has been a special teams captain for the Bucs the last two years. I know little about him but he seems to be fools gold to me.
Agree on CJ but man, Osweiler may be the worst QB in the league right now. Really awfulDesperately need to pick up a WR/TE this week to avoid starting TWilliams @Denver. Here are the claims I put in:

I posted last week in his player thread I'd be making a large bid. Several posters advised it was a waste of time, that's he like every other WR3 who would have a good game once in awhile but impossible to predict when.Is Davante Adams an "All-in" target this week? Hard to ignore the production.
Sure, though I don't want to overreact to his performance vs. a Top 2 defense that knows all of his weaknesses.Agree on CJ but man, Osweiler may be the worst QB in the league right now. Really awful
I personally would go: Moncrief <decent gap> Snead, Montgomery, AdamsIn a short bench league: How do you rank these: Moncrief, Snead, Adams, Montgomery. (PPR, Flex)
Also I suspect Fuller may be dropped in some short bench leagues this week. Is he better than the above?

I think as Gates gets healthier it could be a split down the stretch. I saw Ladarius Green may practice this week. When Ben returns he could be valuable down the playoff stretch.Someone actually dropped Hunter Henry in my league. I know he's hurt now but I imagine he's worth a big bid as well, no?
They don't like Bolden as an RB, he's a special teamer first, so this wouldn't surprise me. Still not sure if it translates to anything fantasy-wise unless Blount were to get hurt (and with lewis eventually coming back).word from Pats camp is Bishop Stanky is pushing hard for 3rd string duties... Stank can be the next Reggie Bush if given daylight
This is not always a bad thing for TEs.Agree on CJ but man, Osweiler may be the worst QB in the league right now. Really awful
