Nate Washington, WR TEN
News: Tennessee receiver Nate Washington was limited by the Cincinnati secondary on Sunday of Week 9 at home. Washington did little in the game as he struggled getting open against the Bengals. Washington connected with QB Matt Hasselbeck for just three receptions and 28 yards and left the game late in the fourth quarter with a hip injury. Washington hurt the hip twice during the game and it went numb on him the second time before he left. Washington's longest reception went for 13 yards in the game. He did not score in the game after recording his second touchdown of the season in the Week 8 contest against the Colts. Washington has been close this season, but has yet to top 100 yards receiving in a game.
Analysis: Washington owners will have to monitor the hip injury going forward as it could limit him or even keep him out. Regardless, Washington certainly seems a long shot to reach 100 yards receiving in Week 10 at Carolina, especially with his latest injury. The Panthers have been decent this season against the pass, though that is mostly due to the fact that no team has been worse against the run. Carolina can't stop the run so Chris Johnson and Javon Ringer will have a field day. The Titans don't really enjoy passing much, anyway, so little should be expected of Washington against the Panthers. Fantasy owners can start Washington as a low-end No. 3 Fantasy WR, at best, for the Week 10 contest.
