Weezer is like your favorite color.  Solid and a great go-to on most occasions.

Radiohead is like a rainbow.  All over the spectrum; some truly awesome, some unlistenable.

I like them both a lot, but I just feel like Radiohead is musically on another level.  I'd be surprised if Weezer didn't agree as they've actually done some Radiohead covers in their day.  To my knowledge, Radiohead hasn't done any Weezer covers.
I was just thinking we need more analogies in this thread in order to put this argument to rest

I'll be there as well. GA floor? This is the first time they've played Portland since I've lived here. I saw them play the Gorge in 2001. The first time I had seen them and one of the craziest shows I've ever witnessed. Climbing up the Walls and How to Disappear Completely gave me shivers.
We are in the 200 level, which is where our tickets are for the Blazers.  Never seen them play and I count own the days like a guy getting out of prison.  I'm so pumped.

I'm no music buff, but I think both of them kind of suck. I'm sure there's something I just don't get. I know people that still talk about Radiohead and love them. Sometimes I wonder if there's some new band named Radiohead that has popped up. I remember Creep was alright about 20 years ago, but was unaware that they were somehow still relevant.

Did a quick listen of a few songs. That crap is dreadful.
You're the guy that also couldn't finish a Mirror Pond?  Makes sense now.

Coworkers all gone, pulled up Blue Album on Spotify.....didn't realize this is the one that came out when I was still in college with their first few hits.  I'll skip the songs I know from radio/MTV overplay but will give the rest a solid listen.

I view Buddy Holly as a fun, schticky little song which again leads me to question (again) why Radiohead is being compared to Weezer.  Two different fruits entirely.

Buddy Holly is schtick; My Name Is Jonas and Only In Dreams are not.

I've said it before. rh doesn't appeal to all the way most bands do. Listen to covers of them first...then listen to the actual songs. Link above is perfect example. radiohead comes down the like sideways and we're always used to stuff coming straight ahead (Like Weezer). C'mon, weezer cant make music like that link.

Sounds great. Crowd dead though. Coachella all 18-22 year olds, bad venue for these guys. The tweets are funny. "They sound ok for their age".

Good thing I'm wearing a The Who shirt with the bullseye on it to a birthday.

No shot at a periscope tonight. Too many people there to get clear service to stream. coachella live stream was only week one. All you have are after the fact uploads. Only stream i see is: Instagram: radioheadfilm (mobile only, poor connection, North America only). No work for me.

Ah, got it, thanks. Was hoping to watch Radiohead tonight.  I liked last week's show, even with the early sound issues.

I have no idea who the last couple of artists I just watched were but jeeezus, not good.  Can't believe they get to play for that much money and that many people.  What is it 10 - 30 thousand?  100 total in the venue?  Nuts!  We were thinking about going tonight, mostly just to see Radiohead, but I guess I'm too old to wade through the zoo.

You used to do surgery,

For girls in the eighties.

But gravity always wins.

It wears me out.

The first words i heard from your periscope link, Willie.

Nice work.

I thought they were little off and the crowd was terrible. Can't imagine they ever would want to go back. Never saw them end a show with a whimper and a quick exit like that. Thom even ####ed up the paranoid lyrics.

only saw the last 7 or so songs though.

Weezer did a lot Radiohead didn't, too. Weezer cut Only In Dreams. I love Radiohead -- have stated it many times -- but if it's a different hunt, I know which hunt I love more for at least two albums, anyway.
