Not a bad signing IMHO. He's a veteran who's a good clubhouse presence and can do a few things well. He'll help the young Brewers unless he steals too many ABs from better players.He's supposedly been added to the 40 man roster, so this must be a Major League contract rather than a Minor Leage make-good deal. That's the only odd thing to me, other than the Brewers now having two OF named "Gabe"
Completely disagree.What he is though, is living proof that steroids can turn someone who would've never seen professional baseball into a bad major leaguer.
It's like a cornucopia of bad former Rangers prospects.
