A lot of whining this weekend up to today but I think we handle it. If we don't then we didn't deserve to win anyway.

A Brief History of Garret Gilbert

His dad was an NFL QB; backed up Jim Kelly on those lost 4 straight Bills teams.

Might have been the greatest quarterback in Texas high school history.

Backed up Colt McCoy as a freshman. 

Lost the BCS CG as a backup who came on when McCoy got hurt. That marked the beginning of Alabama’s current reign and the start of the decline of SMU.

He’s 30 and basically got the “sign a guy off the street” gig bc Carolina was one of the 6-7 stops he’s made along the way, so Rivera knew who he was.

Should be interesting.

Start Taamu! 

He's a playground QB if ever there was one. Loved him in the XFL and big improvement since college. He can run, adlib, start him because plays are absolutely breaking down by whichever QB with almost no experience starts.

Taamu is polished now and better than college for sure, but this is gonna be brutal so don't go with a pocket QB

 
I'd say the only chance Washington has is if Gibson does his best Jonathan Taylor and goes bonkers for about 200 total yards and 2-3 TDs.  :scared:

Just a bit of trivia.  Gale Gilbert is the only NFL player to be a member of 5 consecutive losing super bowl teams.  He backed up Stan Humphries in 1994.

Hurts didn’t play week 13 and they had a bye week 14. 
I don’t see how Washington scores enough for 40 to hit. That’s what makes a line I guess. 20-6 Eagles.

Thanks.  I downloaded Fox app and only game listed is Rams.  I am trying to download NFL app and it doesn't seem to work.  I give up.
