What are Moreno owners doing with him? (1 Viewer)

This has been a total worse case scenario season for Moreno, but I do see some light at the end of the tunnel. When he finally returns from his hamstring woes, he'll have the benefit of playing in an offense that has been throwing the ball at a mind numbing pace. I tend to think there will be some running lanes for him. He may play this week, but he's still been limited all week, and against the NYJ I'm not in love with trotting him out for the start.

But what about beyond this week? Anyone else see a fairly soft schedule ahead like I do?

Or are you waiting until he has a decent game or two, and selling him for whatever you can get?

I think there are some productive games in him this season. Anyone else?

On the bench this week but I have other options. If he plays this week and produces some fantasy points, I may stick him in the line-up next week. But I really want to see him out there at least one full game before I take a chance.

When he plays, he does well....I'm holding, cuz when he does come back and after this Jets game, its a pretty sweet schedule and he is the starter and best runner on the team.

I've been burning him in effigy a lot. Cursing his name, hiring a witch doctor to hex his future generations.

Pretty much the standard stuff.

I traded for him for the bench because of the goal line oportunities. Denver was using him there and he was getting in. I'd like to think that after Week 8 he will return to having a chance at 1-2 TD's per week. That's the plan anyway.

Starting Torrain for him this week. If Moreno shows up in week 6 and Torrain doesn't, they'll switch places next week.

Benched. I'm fortunate to have better options available, though. I'd have to be up a pretty steep creek of $h!t to consider starting him against NYJ this week, I'm hoping he actually gets rested one more week so I can get him nice and healthy for the second half of the fantasy season.

I'm sitting him this week, whether he plays or not. Assuming he gets at least some playing time and does not aggravate his injury, I'm hopeful he will be productive down the stretch. He was a solid RB2 before the injury, scoring 12 and 17 pts (in my league) in the two games he played. His backups haven't been nearly as productive, so I don't think there is a worry of them stealing touches when he is back, and as the OP pointed out, his remaining schedule isn't a very tough one. I think he can regain his status as a solid RB2 and I look forward to his full-time return.

He is still chained and wearing the gimp mask in my cellar. He'll stay there until he shows that he can deliver.

:towelwave: I agree 100%. Maroney and Buckhalter have looked pathetic. Once he is back, he is the starter and in a PPR league he is going to get receptions as well. I want to see him get 10-12 touches and see how he looks (tempered because it is the Jets) before he goes back in the lineup.

On my bench as my 4/5th RB in one team, and as my 3RB in another... hoping he comes back so I can plug him in as a flex in 2nd league after week 6... assuming he's plays the whole game and the other RBs don't take much from him
