Well, we do have about 3,000 satellites in orbit, so there's that.  Hubble is the size of a school bus and it was put up there nearly 30 years ago now.  The MIR is the size of a whale and the ISS is the size of a football field.

That's my bad for not being more specific.

I meant with human's on board. More space shuttles and all the catastrophes, disasters, failed launches. 

yet 50 years ago, we did it without problem AND landed on the moon and returned? B.S.

The Hubble has been up almost 30 years?  Is that right?  Wow, I feel old all of a sudden.

Without problem?  So you're saying there weren't any issues/mishaps in the space program in the late 60s and early 70s?  We tried a bunch of times, and were successful a few of those times.  That certainly doesn't mean "without problem."

Anyway, as to the lunar landing stuff one thing I've never understood is the lack of any stars in any lunar picture. 

 
Super Bowl XL (Steelers vs Seahawks) was rigged.  Easily the worst officiated game in any sport I've ever witnessed.  Not only did they get a two touchdown favor from the refs in the first half, but the refs did everything in their power to keep the Seahawks from winning in the second half.

Fixing a game is really hard, especially when multiple parties (several refs) need to be bought off. It would involve a lot of runners, and a lot of negotiation, and that means a lot of people talking, getting their own money down, etc.  Gamblers are a pretty gabby bunch. I think the sport that's fixed the most prevalently these days is tennis at the lower levels, where you just need to work with one person, and they're not making enough money to where they can't be bought.

There's a lot of credence to the idea that Rothstein (who was behind the Black Sox) fixed the first fight between Tunney and Dempsey, where he paid off one of Dempsey's bodyguards to spike his olive oil (which Dempsey drank to improve his digestion) with something that caused him to feel sick. Rothstein had money down on Tunney at 4-to-1.

It was daytime on the moon when they took the pictures.  You don't see stars in the daytime on earth, why would you on the moon?  Duh.

I understand it would be hard if the NFL wanted it fixed.  That would be very complicated.  But if a ref did it without the NFL consent from a bookie for a nice payday, which is exactly how it looked when watching the game, it wouldn’t be that complicated at all, pretty simple really.

I still have a special bathtub in my house filled with Seahawk fans tears. Once a year in February I take a bath in the tears and it keeps me from aging.

Well frankly because the moon has no atmosphere, which is why the same pictures (which were lunar morning by the way, hence the long shadows) show a pitch black sky.  The astronauts themselves stated how bright the stars looked.  I understand the idea of aperture of the camera, would just mean that the morning on the moon is extremely bright - which it very well may be, I've never been to notice.

I was just being sarcastic. All I know is it's camera/light/physics stuff which I know nothing about.

And screw aperture.  Who wants a crazy old Chinese broad sticking needles in you?

I don't know if this is an established theory, but one that I could see as possible. Would be hard to keep secret though so is highly unlikely...

The plane that crashed on 9-11 in the field due to passengers overwhelming the terrorists was actually shot down by the US military. The "let's roll" story was fabricated so the public didn't know the government had to make the tough choice of sacrificing the passengers to prevent the plane being crashed as another weapon.

That theory has been suggested before the recovered all the bodies in the field.

I even remember some debunking of sorts where those theorists claimed wreckage was spread out like 4 miles apart....but they were using mapquest to measure the distance....so yea...4 miles using old town roads in PA not direct distance. 

 
Conspiracies according to who?  I mean there are a lot of people out there who don't believe in MMGW.  I'd put that on the top of my list that is true.
