How do you think I felt last year when I owned Tiki and they kept bringing in Jacobs for the goal line carries? How many games did it take before Tiki finally got a TD of his own? I forgot. I only remember him getting one before I traded him for MJD.

Obviously he's not going to lose the GL carries to either, but while I at first thought he was a shoe in for 20+ carries a game, I'd say ward gets 5-8 a game, possibly more if he's playing more effective than Jacobs

anyone who started Ward has gotten a gift of over 100 yards each week from a waiver pick. I have him in a dynasty league (got him as a WW pick last year), and I'm loving what he's shown. Don't look a gifthorse in the mouth, the man has been the waiver pick of the year.

This seems about right. For those thinking Jacobs gets the workload when he returns, what does Ward have to do in your opinion, to get the bulk? I really don't see any scenario where Ward would get the bulk. I can see a 50/50 full blown RBBC, but not him getting the bulk. I think he'd have to clearly outperform Jacobs consistently to do that. I could see the G-men mostly giving him the ball in the 1st Q and early, and then pound Jacobs on tired D's in the 4th, but then they wouldn't be as tired because they haven't faced Jacobs all game, correct?Also, Im not sure of Ward's receiving skills, but I could also see him taking a role as 3DRB, except on short ydg which would be Jacobs roleThis seems about right. Yo it's called the venting thread.I own both Jacobs and Ward and frankly I haven't seen what Ward has done to play himself out of contention. I do agree that it'll most likely be a RBBC situation, perhaps with Jacobs getting the 3rd down and goal line work.
Jacobs will never get the 3rd down work. Short yardage yes. Pass cathcing? Never.
