My team is 8-1, and we are in a league that only allows three waiver moves for the season, but unlimited trades and IR moves (for any players listed as OUT/DOUBTFUL/IR/or SUSPENDED.

My starting qb is Brady, my backup was Alex Smith but I acquired Favre as my backup in a trade.

My rbs at the beginning of the year were T Henry, R Johnson, D Foster and D Williams. Now they are F Taylor, MJD, Rudi and K Watson.

My wrs suck - Cotchery, Driver, Mason, White and Winslow (originally I had Steve Smith and Wes Welker - but they were traded off)

K - Gostkowski and Folk (for an injured Scobee, so I will lose Folk soon)

DL - No changes - Suggs and Kyle VDB, did pick up Dockett for an injured Castillo, and Kiwanuka via trade for depth.

LB - Tatupu, Mike Peterson, Willis, Cooper , Gaither (had Briggs originally but traded him off) - picked up Peterson and Gaither via trade, Cooper via waiver

DB - Harper and Atogwe were drafted, I traded away Adrian Wilson and Pollard. I have since picked up Sean Taylor is a trade.

Half the moves I have made were not really necessary - I just like to trade.

I think I have pretty much ruined my teams shot with my love for "Big Name" guys but here goes

Drafted:

QB- Kitna, Garcia, McNair

RB- Westy, Maroney (keeper), Benson (keeper), K Jones (8th round and keeper eligible for an 8th round pick) Morris, A Thomas

WR- R Williams, J Walker, M Colston, G Jennings, J Jones

TE- Heap and Z Miller

K- Gould

D- Vikings and 3 IDPs- Ryans, Umenyora and Rhodes

WW move 1- Picked up D Lee for Z Miller

WW move 2- Picked up Stallworth for A thomas

Trade 1: Sent Benson and Heap for D Branch and H Miller

WW move 3- Dropped Stallworth for A Hall (ouch)

Trade 2: Sent Maroney, R Williams and J Jones for TO, Calvin Johnson and Buckhalter

So far, so good. This is where is turns downhill

WW move 4: Drop J Garcia for Garrard (not bad but opponent that week drops Pennington and plays Garcia for Manning and beats me by 5)

WW move 5: Drop Cardinals D for J Wright

Trade 3: Sent K Jones (8th round keeper), M Colston, C Johnson and a 2008 2nd rounder (rosters dont carry over) for Edge, Chad Johnson, Jamal Lewis and a 2008 7th rounder (AWFUL DEAL RIGHT NOW)

Trade 4: Same day as trade 3. Sent Westy and Buckhalter for Gore, Hicks and Harrison (an equally bad deal as the other one)

Couple of Add/Drops in between

Trade 5: Sent A Smith and Harrison for Big Ben (11th round keeper) and Julius Jones (I actually like this one a lot)

WW move 6: Drop Gould for Folk

WW move 7: Drop Stokley for R Grant

Trade 6: Sent Gore, Hicks, Lewis, Wright and G Jennings for S Jackson, V Morency and B Edwards (7th round keeper)

SOOOOOOOOOO, after all of that, I feel my initial team may have been better

Team today

QB- Big Ben, Kitna

RB- Edge, S Jackson, R Grant, V Morency, J Jones, A Hall, Morris (will be cut this weekend)

WR- TO, CJ, B Edwards, D Branch, J Walker

TE- H Miller

K- Folk

D- Vikings, Ryans, Umenyora, Rhodes

That is the blueprint for ruining a team. Im 6-3 and one or 2 more wins will get me in the playoffs but Im not expecting much unless guys get healthy.

My biggest regret is making that K Jones/2nd rounder deal (Trade 3). I went for big names to make a push. Non of those guys have done much since I acquired them. And I lost a 2nd rounder next year.
