I don't know his exact politics, but I do know that the players thought he wasn't looking out for them, and there were many teams ready to quit the collective bargaining agreement because they thought he was trying to get too much for the players... that seems like a very fine line he walked, but when both sides disagree with you and still respect you, well.. It's a thankless job and he seemed to do it well.and then when he became head of the player's union forgetting about fellow players getting the money they deserved while enjoying a cush job pulling in about 6 milly a year.......a stud?dcgangstas said:Gene Upshaw was a stud.
