What draft positions (1 Viewer)

12 team redraft

4 Playoff Spots, 3 Division winners, 1 Wild Card

All divisions are up for grabs. But tonight will separate several teams

Draft positions 8-12 all still have a shot to make the playoffs, while only 1 and 3 remain from the first 7 draft positions.

Guess this was the year to draft late.

Ten teamer; three teams bunched up with what looks like will be a two game lead on the remaining teams. Draft position of the three: #3, #5, #8.

Not sure if it's a direct corrolation in this case though--team #8 had an outstanding draft and has made the least moves of all of us during the course of the season.

Teams #3 and #5 (me) have been very active in waivers through the year to compensate--such as for my first round pick of Steven Jackson.

10 team redraft

2 division winners and 4 wildcards

Right now looks like draft spots 1,5,6,7,8 and 9 are in.

12 teamer, 1-2 in each division make playoffs plus two wildcard spots with highest points of remaining teams.

Division winners drafted 9 and 12. Second place teams drafted 1 and 8. Wildcards drafted 2 and 11.

We did the third round reversal this year and it really helped balance the league. First time in the 8 years the league has been together that 4 playoff teams came from the bottom half of the draft. Will be doing this until I can convince 75 percent of the league to go to an auction draft...........

two 12-teamers, each with 3 divisions of 4 teams, 3 division winners and 3 wild cards

basic performance scoring (no pts for receptions)

League 1: 2, 4 (me), 6, 7, 9, 12

League 2: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 10 (me)

I was kind of surprised that 1-4 all made it in League 2, but even though some of those teams missed on their 1st round picks, they made up for it with midround sleepers being start performers on their teams.

14 team league ... top 8 make the playoffs:

3 / 6 / 8 / 9 / 10 / 11 / 13 / 14

2 in the top 7 and 6 in the bottom 7 ... interesting.

Draft position doesn't matter.

Landing mid-late round guys like...

Kurt Warner, Aaron Rodgers, Jay Cutler, Thomas Jones, Matt Forte, Chris Johnson, DeAngelo Williams, Roddy White, Greg Jennings, etc.

...that produced like studs is the key, not draft position.

There are leagues where 60% of the teams make the playoffs?

Seems like a great way to reward mediocrity. President Elect Obama would be proud.
There is a professional sports league where 53.33% of the teams (16 of 30) make the playoffs now. It's called the NHL and they have been rewarding mediocrity for years. Prior to expansion in recent years, they had as high a percentage as 76.2% of teams (16 of 21) making the playoffs in the 1979-1980 season.

Yeah you're right, it doesn't require endurance, agility, physical strength, quickness, intelligence, etc. :lmao: 16/30 also make the playoffs in the NBA, and a staggering 68/117 make bowl games in NCAAF.

Quit yer trolling, you're not very good at it.

So what you are telling me is that no sports leagues have 60% of the field make the playoffs?Bowl games are not playoffs they are just ways to try to make more money.

60% gets you a D- and trip to summer school. Why does a D- deserves a reward?
