But I got to go with Dirk Diggler in Boogie Nights. He nailed it in that movie

yeah, the emphatic rubber stamp of Diggler is in no way meant to be pejorative to any of his other roles, nor to the spirit of the pole ... just that it's a massive stride ahead of many other actor's work(s), let alone his own.

Agreed. I think he's underrated as an actor. Can be funny or serious or both in same role. I thought he played Dignam about perfectly though I didn't vote for that role (voted DD). Cracks me up in The Other Guys. The peacock line gets me every time
