What is the Value of Kurt Warner (1 Viewer)

Hey Sharks,

I'm wondering what you guys think of a QB such as Kurt Warner? What is his true value? This is a guy that came from nowhere to lead one of the most prolific passing offenses in NFL history, only to disappear from the top of the board just as quickly.

Now fast forward to 2006 where he is an aged QB on a team with solid weapons at WR and RB. Does this alone make him MUCH more valuable than has has been for the last 4 years?

I don't think so, I think he is past his prime and taking him in the top 8-10 rounds is a risk at best. More importantly I think Fitz and Boldin are held back (a little) by him.

Of the guys in my leagues I think I am in the minority here ... what do you guys think?

I think Warner will have a big, big year throwing to those young guns. Leinart's turn comes in 2007 and beyond, and beyond ...
