Casablanca is the obvious choice for eithe prequel or sequel. 

Considering Chandler wrote so many good Marlowe novels, a sequel to Big Sleep with Bogart is another obvious choice. 

It is too late to reasonably do any of those. Something more recent where the actors could be reassembled might be Juno. That had a great cast and it seems like there could be more to mine from them 10 years later.

After reading the Darth Bane series, I would like to see a Knights of the Old Republic set of movies which will probably come at some point. How the Sith came to be, Darth Plagus' story, how the sith were are to set up the clone army behind the Jedi's back with Master Sifo-Dyas and his demise.
