W/L record, winning %, and games back are current as of 7:00pm on 6/21/07.

I say Detroit... :wall:

I don't see the Tigers or the Indians loosing a lot in the second half so Minnesota and Chicago will have to have a big few months in order to catch either the Indians or the Tigers.

the only teams in my mind that have a chance are Cleveland, Detroit and Minnesota.

***UPDATE*** games played through Saturday 06/23/2007.

Detroit 44-29

Cleveland 43-30 1game back of Detroit

Minnesota 37-35 6.5 games back of Detroit

Chicago 29-41 13.5 games back of Detroit

Kansas City 29-46 16 games back of Detroit

I voted Detroit, but both teams will more than likely make the post season.
 The O in Detroit just looks unstopable. And to my surprise, the young arms aren't showing any sign of wearing down after a long post season run last year. If they can fix the bullpen, which is possible (Zumaya comes back, maybe move Robertson in there with The Gambler back) they should cruise the the central pennant.

***UPDATE*** Records current as of the All Star Break.

Cleveland 52-36 1 game back of Detroit

Minnesota 45-43 8 games back of Detroit

Chicago 39-47 13 games back of Detroit

Kansas City 38-50 15 games back of Detroit
