had my nephews todayt so had to take them out to watch smurfs rather than wtch football. have not had a chance to research yet but see Mike Williams -4 staring at me on my fantasy score. so figured If anyone knows its you all? Injury? Suck? Fluke?

I had Mike Williams AND Antonio Gates today.

Together they had 1 catch for -4 yards!

He would of had a TD, but it was called back due to a Benn illegal shift. Not a ton of target as the Vikings had fairly good coverage on him most of the game and a good pass rush. Shocked he didn't get involved when the worm turned but it happens.

MIN shut down Vincent Jackson week 1 (who promptly blew up for 10-172-2 week 2), so I was worried this might happen to Tampa Mike. Didn't think it'd be this bad, though. Who was covering Williams (and VJ)? Do we need to worry about Cedric Wilson like we do Revis / Nmandi now? Never been like that before, but I assume it's not Antoine Winfield as he's getting all the tackles (10+ each week). Or are those coming vs the run? Maybe it's a scheme thing where the Vikes double up on #1 WRs and take them out of the game wherever they go? Something is definitely up there.

edit: sorry, meant cedric griffin. Something is killing WR1s there, I doubt it's him, but 2 weeks is a trend...

Yes. Haven't you heard of Cedric Wilson island? I'm just sad that no one named Cedric Wilson plays for the Vikings.I think it just a fluke that the Vikings haven't given up too many big pass plays to those players.

Leagues with return yard bonus should pay attention. Before getting in to trouble at FSU, Parker was electric. A real playmaker.
