What time do your kids go to bed? (1 Viewer)

5 and 3. 730 week nights during school. 8 something when not and on weekends. If there's some event going on then all bets are off but outside of Christmas no more than one night per week and preferably two weeks.

7 and 11.

Usually about 8ish we go up...by the time they brush and pick out clothes (for school days) and do stories, its between 8:30 and 9.

Weekends may be up a bit longer...or summers or vacations like this past week on fall break.

Kids under 12 need a minimum of 10 hours sleep. My daughter is usually asleep by 9 pm and gets up around 7 am.

11 and 12 yr old...11 PM on weekends/10 PM on school nights
:goodposting: Our 11 & 13 (6 and 7th Graders) go to sleep at 12 on non-school nights, and on school nights are in bed by 9:30 for 30 min of reading, and have electronics removed (Kindles) at 10. The 8 (3rd Grade) is similar except for 8:30/9 on school and 10 on non-school nights.

Let it go, Let it go

Can’t hold it back anymore

Let it go, Let it go,

Turn my back and slam the door

And here I stand

And here I’ll stay

Let it go, let it go

The cold never bothered me anyway

:gunshot:

8 and 12 year old. 8:30 during the week and 9:30 on the weekend (they have a TV in their room so they get TV on the weekend but not during the week.)

Summer is usually 9:30 all week.

3,5,at 7:30-8:00 weekdays, & weekends

8- 14 900 weekdays/weekends, 14 9-10 weekends

2, 4, 5 go down at 8 but usually stay up until 9-10

16 year old usually by 10 p.m.weeknights, midnight on weekends.

19 year old at college with no classes before 11 a.m. so probably 1 a.m.? Damn, I miss those days. Although, as a science major, it seems like I always had a ####### 8 o'clock.

3.5 year old and 4 month old boys here. We start at 630 and they are both asleep by about 930 in no particular order. It's a huge unpredictable window that we are trying to close up but then we can barely feed and clean ourselves so the fact that they sleep at all is a bonus.

2 year olds. Sleep trained by 6 months old. Bed time is always at 7:30pm. We are much better because of a regular bedtime. And more importantly they kids are much better.

If you don't have a bedtime routine with young kids get one now. It's the best thing for everyone.

boys 4, 7, 10 and 12 all start making the transition to bed around 8 on school nights. On weekends we might push this back to 9-930 if we're hanging out or watching a movie.

The 4 and 7 yo read until 830 (usually together), then lights out.

The 10 and 12 yo share a room and read until 830, sometimes later and they're quiet upstairs and proven to be mostly responsible with getting sleep so it could be later some nights but not a big deal.

I'll go to bed by 9, read or watch TV until 10 most nights. My wife stays up a few hours later. I wake up between 430 and 530, most days without an alarm, she stays in bed until 7 during the week, 8-830 on weekends.

those were the days. Most weekends I'd be up until the time I wake up now. my 2nd semester and sophomore years I didn't have a class until 11am.

Then I joined ROTC and sleeping in was over.

2nd grader @ 8:30

6th grader @ 9:30

Weekends we are lax but still within an hour of these times. Sleepovers change everything.

10.5 year old.

9 pm on school nights. He usually does not make it past 10:30 on weekends. Kid is very active playing outside, sports etc. He is tired by 9:30 anyway.

2.5 year olds: 7:15 - 7:45 in bed depending on how late dinner went out their naps that day. They share a "big crib" right now, which is two toddler beds lashed together. That means it can take up to an hour, sometimes 1.5 hours for them to actually fall asleep. We don't go in unless someone seems hurt or they've escaped the crib.

730 on school nights for the 3 and 5 year old

If we have company staying with us we let them stay up til whenever they want....that way the next time company shoots the locks off their wallet and gets a hotel room

We're visiting friends out of state. 11PM and these little turds are still running around screaming. WTF?
These people are ####### idiots. We have family who do this. Kids are worn out, adults tired. Put your young kids to bed. And make them nap.
