What to do with Darren McFadden (1 Viewer)

Crypt Keeper

Footballguy
I have this guy in a keeper league and I can't figure out what to do with him. What is Oakland doing with Russell. I have never seen a QB more horrible- he overthrows his wr's by 10 yds!! Great move releasing Garcia.

Is there any hope for Mcfadden the rest of the year????

i am starting him this week.. if he can't do anything against houston i will wash my hands of him until there is some improvement at QB.

i'm looking to trade him. as long as the raiders have russell at the helm there is no reason for optimism.

I guess the good thing is people are picking up Michael Bush on waivers, so there is still a positive light in the run game if you wanna dish DMC.

I dumped Bush (for MeMoore) today because of Russell. If I can't start Bush vs. the porous Texans run D (& all other RB hurtor on bye) because of Russell, I probably will never start him.

I'm about ready to drop McFadden outright. I'm going to wait and see what he does this week and try to trade him, but I need WR help soon (week 7 bye issues) and DMac is inching closer and closer to the chopping block. Maybe I'll get lucky and someone will pick him up and drop somebody I could use.

I've tempered expectations from before the season started, but I think it will get a bit better. It's too early to drop him, and this is not the time to trade him.

I still get interest in him from other owners but its low trades like Housh or Burleson types. But if he has a decent week this week he will be tradable for a little better player. If he is a fail again his trade value plumets into the abyss.

Have you seen the number of looks and catches Burleson is getting? You should reconsider that offer.

I don't own him, but I'd consider trading for him. I think his value is about as low as it could be unless he was hurt. The Raiders aren't running the ball well, they did last year so I think they'll turn it around some and McFadden should be the direct beneficiary of this.

Anybody who thinks Russell can continue to play so horribly and keep his job all season needs to wake up. He either has to show improvement or he will be benched. His leash isnt as short as guys who are performing better, but there is always a leash when a team is loseing.
