What to do with underperforming IDP's (1 Viewer)

Basic perf scoring, weak IDP with 1 DL, 1LB, 1 DB. My players project to do very well. However, they are underperforming horribly. Since this is a weak scoring IDP system with more weight on offensive scoring, should I just let it play out or try and move any of these players? My extra roster space is filled up with offense (RBs mostly ... 9 to be exact).

Code:
Abraham, John NYJ DE 9.50 8 10.02 Barnett, Nick GBP LB 11.00 6 FA Harrison, Rodney NEP S 12.00 7 3.11
I figured I would be ok since I have above average players. I guess my question is, do IDPs recover from slow starts and over-perform moving forward?

on abraham, given his injury history and what DLs score, i think you can let him go without too much regret and try to find the hot hand.on harrison, he has been THE BEST DB in fantasy football for the last decade. over the course of the season, folks will have good games and bad. he should even out. on harrison, i ask...WOULD YOU DROP PEYTON MANNING? harrison is that good.barnett? my experience is that he starts fast and the disappears as teh season goes on. with only starting one LB, i think you might as well try the free agent wire to find someone scoring better now who may wind up more consistent.

Maybe it is just me, but this post is a little vague. I think we need some more information. Who is available? Are those 3 guys your only IDP players? What is a weak IDP scoring system. And to your last question, it depends. I think RHarrison will be solid the rest of the way. However, he will probably not be a top 5 DB. Abraham has had good starts and Barnett should be fine.

As a general rule I dont get too high or too low on my players the first couple of weeks. Obiviously there are exceptions. Let it ride!

I'd try and move Barnett. The other 2 guys should be fairly solid. Abraham has been just fine in the one league I have him in, so I'm surprised to see him listed. If you're going to try and find the guy who blows up every week, it's going to be tough.

Thanks for the replies guys. Yea, I was vague with the post. I just wanted to put out there guys that going into the season I thought would perform average or above average. The league is a partial keeper and in the restocking I targetted Harrison and Abraham as players I thought I could count on each week. I want to be able to count on players each week so I could load up on my offensive skill positions and add depth there since this is a light IDP league. My goal as stated above is not to keep a lot of IDP depth. Get 1 starter at each position and score above average and not worry about them all year and concentrate on the offensive side of the ball. In the end, I would like to know if I should move any of these players and go to a IDPBC approach where I drop and pickup depending on matchups. What I am hearing everyone say is definately keep Harrison and Abraham and maybe find someone better than Barnett on the WW. Worst case is I can hope Barnett comes around. Honestly, I havnt even looked at the WW because I thought the players I had were above average.Any other thoughts?

GB defense is spending alot of time on the field. I am a fan of Nick Barnett but he can be inconsistent at times. I would try and be patient for another game or two to see what happens.
