What's a good offer for Kareem Hunt? (1 Viewer)

My team is weak at RB but I have 4 strong WRs. I like Kareem Hunt for somewhat of a bounce back after KC's bye, and the Hunt owner is weak at WR. I'd like to make a trade offer centered around my strong WR for his Hunt. I'd really appreciate any suggestions.

This is a 10-team PPR ESPN league (where you start 2 WRs, 2 RBs, and 1 W/R/T flex). I'm in the playoff hunt at 5-4. This is my team:

QB: Ryan (I drafted Aaron Rodgers :( )

RB: Ajayi, CJA, Tevin Coleman, James White, Kenyan Drake, Darkwa

WR: Mike Evans, Michael Thomas, Tyreek Hill, Thielen, Shepherd

TE: Kelce, Brate

K: Lutz

DST: Rams

Since after this week I'm done for byes with my WRs, I'm good with rolling with the remaining 4 WRs if I trade one for Hunt. Is Evans or Thomas straight up for Hunt too much, or is that a reasonable offer (despite Hunt's recent struggles)? Or maybe Hill would be the best to offer (he's the highest scoring)? If needed, I'd be fine with including any RB besides Ajayi.

If you have your own question, leave a link and I'll try to help. Thanks

You're not as weak at RB as you think you are.  Ajayi is poised for a great second half now that he's in Philly and won't be the center of attention for defenses.  Anderson is meh, but Coleman is due for an increased role for the next week or two at least with Freeman battling two injuries at once.  White is a decent flex PPR RB, Drake showed some promise last week and should be flex worthy, and Darkwa is still going to get decent volume.

But, I agree that your WRs are stacked enough that you should probably try to flip some of that strength to your RB corps.   About 3 weeks ago I got an offer of Evans for my Hunt, and I thought long and hard about it but ultimately turned it down because I also have Zeke and didn't want to lose too much RB at once, but it was a fair offer.  I'd float that out there, but the other guy may not bite since Evans is suspended this coming week, and Tampa looks to have Fitzpatrick starting for at least the next couple of weeks.

If he won't do Evans, I'd try Thomas straight up as well, that's another pretty fair offer and one that would help you.  Hill for Hunt straight up would be great if he would agree to that.  If I'm you I'd rather he take Evans, just too much uncertainty in Tampa right now.   If he still won't bite then I'd try to combine Coleman + Thielen.  I doubt he'd go for anything with Anderson in it but you never know.  Try Anderson + Evans if he doesn't think Evans is enough by himself.   Anderson + any of those WRs would be ok with me, if not then a Coleman/Thielen combo would be my next route.   Good luck!

I agree that Evans should be a solid offer.  I like the idea of offering him because Tampa is a dumpster fire and I don't expect any consistency from here on out.  It will really depend on what the other owner thinks of Evans' prospects for the rest of the year.  I think it is a fair offer and worth an offering.

agreed, Evans would be a fair offer, but you may be hard pressed to get him to accept. If you have to see if throwing in CJA helpf seal the deal.
