Whats a good pay site to play fantasy football (1 Viewer)

I was in league last year that everytime I tried to make a trade the league would just veto it and the CBS Commish would uphold it. I think that last trade I had was I was giving up Joseph Addai, Deven Hester and Jamal Charles for Randy Moss. This was before Charles went off. I did it because I need another WR and had plenty of RBs and he did it because he had just awful RBs and good WRs.

So I will never use CBS again and wanted to know if there was a good paysite out there someone could recommend.

Not sure I understand what Sportsline has to do with this. Didn't the owners make the trade rules?

Exactly. This has nothing to do with CBS. Any site can have that problem, it's up to the commish/owners to create these kinds of rules.

For functionality and easy navigation the answer is Fanball. For customer service it's MFL.
the quality of the stats on Fanball has really declined to the point where it became almost impossible to parse them.Fanball used to be better a couple years back.

If you are talking about a public pay league, I was in an antsports.com league for a couple of years. It was well run and they didn't skim near as much as CBS from the entry fee.

I would suggest staying away from Ants now. Years ago it was a great site before Steve become complacent and stopped dealing with issues in a timely fashion. Two years ago it took me months to get my payout, the message board was having huge security issues, so I decided to bail.

No way would i use antsports again. I came in the money two years in a row and it took him forever to pay. He said payouts would be made in a couple weeks after Week 17, but that was never the case. It would take multiple emails from me and he always had an excuse on why it took longer. I ended up getting paid both times, but it was a hassle.

This is a public pay league. I expect the other Dbags in the league to veto any trade becuase it dont help their team. But after like vetoes the trade goes to CBS to either uphold the veto or let the trade go through. The fact that CBS upeheld the veto was total BS to me. As in my example above I dont see anywhich way that should have been vetoed and the fact CBS upheld the veto is even more BS. So I am looking for another public pay league for next year. As ive said before, if you happen to play in a public pay league and you like to trade....stay away from CBS...its almost impossible to make a trade there.

Still looking for another public pay site.

Playing in public pay leagues is a bit risky. RT Sports offers no trade leagues for several different fee/payout structures. I played a $25.00 league last year and experienced no problems. This year I stepped up to a $100 league and noticed that before the draft was held two teams had the same name. That team name had the top draft spot and a lower one. Before the draft the lower draft spot was changed to another name. So, I don't know if someone signed up for two teams and dropped the lower one, or changed the name of the lower one or what. I guess that is a strategy that guys can use in this type of league. I am also concerned about the possibility of the site owners fielding several teams. Anyway, the team that was originally listed twice did win the league. My advice is to avoid public leagues if you can. If you want to play one, play small money, and play no trade. There are just too many ways people can be unethical in this to risk a lot of money. I found a live draft league in my area this year on footballguys. com and the guys were great. Good luck.

They got a lot of complaints they didn't pay winnings 2 years ago. I would use MFL.

Played at FantasyHeadquarters.com for the last 4 years. Good site. Reliable and have always paid out in a timely fashion.

Thing I like about them is that they pay out the top 3 spots in each league including a "Toilet Bowl" winner.

They do skim a decent amount however...

Good Luck...

i have played the last 3 years @ fantasyheadquarters.com. i have been lucky enough to finish in the money each year. always got a check about a month or so after week 16 and last years check was slightly over $4k. so far, i have to recommend the site.
