Hmmm, good question. I'm sure there is a stat whore somewhere that actually has that category.
Punting from the 20. So, a 45 yard punt (actually 60 yards in the air) would land/be caught at the 30 on the other end. Give a 10 yard return avg -- yep, about the 40 I'd say. Though, if you could really hang it high you might get a fair catch.
This is what Colorado should have done at the end instead of giving the ball to Georgia on its own 40.
