Whats up with D-Jax and J. Walker? (1 Viewer)

Word is Jackson won't really be able to contribute until like week 6 or 8. Count on him being out for a significant amount of time... stay away!!!

Walker, he has been practicing, but his knee has been sore. I would stay away from him, but grab him if you can as your #3 WR... that'd be awesome. I'd be a little weary if he was my #2 tho.

Either a guy is healthy, or not healthy. What difference is he is a # 2 or #3??

Seahawks' Jackson likely out until late Aug.

CHENEY, Wash. (AP) - Seattle Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren said top wide receiver Darrell Jackson likely will not play until the team's Aug. 26 exhibition game at San Diego.

Jackson, who had a career-high 87 receptions in 2004, had surgery on his right knee Oct. 12 to repair torn cartilage. He missed 10 games but returned to catch 20 passes in three playoff games, including five for 50 yards in Seattle's Super Bowl loss to Pittsburgh.

But weeks after that game, Jackson had a second knee surgery. He is watching training camp practices from the sidelines wearing his practice jersey, team visor and a smile.

"He's on a program to get his leg straightened," Holmgren said Thursday. "His knee is pretty good, but his muscles in his quad and so on have to be stronger, so he doesn't re-injure anything.

"He's right on schedule. We're setting a target date of a third preseason game."

When did Jackson Blow the knee? Walker did it early in game 1. What about Jackson?
Jackson did play in week 15/16 and in the playoffs:15 ten | 7 | 6 72 | 1 |16 ind | 0 | 3 34 | 0 2005 was W,20-10 | 0 0 0 | 9 143 12005 car W,34-14 | 0 0 0 | 6 75 1*2005 pit L,10-21 | 0 0 0 | 5 50 0

What a crock....... did a little birdie tell you this.Word is Jackson will be available for the last pre-season game and will most likely start the season as the Seahawks #1. Until there is any other word officially I am taking that to the bank.Jackson is a veteran and is resting through pre-season so he will be 100% at seasons start. I'm not worried about him, if you want to stay away, please do so and someone else will get him as a great value.Posts like this guys should be deleted due to excessive stink :hot:

You got anything backing this statement Ro3384? Or are you just speaking out of your butt?

A lot. In a dynasty a 5th round pick of Javon would be gold later this year or next. By day 1 he will have healed for a whole year, by week 8 he may be 100%.A #3 or 4 isn't starting each week. A #2 is.

 Aren't there a lot of leagues where you start 3 or 4 WR's. I know I'm in a bunch. If I draft Walker, he'll be starting for me all year whether he's a #3, #4, or #2.
