When injuries hit! (1 Viewer)

After the Rain

As usual, there have been a good deal of inuries this year. What do you guys do when your team is hit hard? Do you hold on to your healthy stars and hope to mix and match around them or do you trade quality to get some quantity?

Obviously it depends on some different factors like league size, etc. but I was hoping to hear some discussion on general principles if possible.

I'm in the same boat and have been thinking of dealing Turner because he's the only "stud" with name value that I have. I was thinking of trying to get Hillis and a decent WR for him.

Today I lost Jermichael Finley in all four of my leagues; in one league Jay Cutler and Calvin Johnson (still have not seen news on his shoulder injury) are hurt ; in my auction league I got Ray Rice back on track but am still without Mike Vick & Pierre Thomas and lost Calvin Johnson today (please, no lectures about not having too many of the same players across my leagues).Bottom line is it's week 5 and there are enough weeks left to survive without gutting your teams. Other teams in all my leagues will go through this and if I've done a good job drafting and playing the waiver wire I'll be there at the end. Just gotta make the playoffs have the hot team at that time.
