It depends on who gains leverage force, and when.
Somebody else can probably answer this better, but arent't the major rulings expected sometime in June on whether the owners can lockout the players, and that's expected to rule in their favor?
Players start missing on paychecks come September, owners will miss out as well, but are probably better financed.
I would assume that come early July, there's going to be some make or break point as to whether a deal gets done. Either one side, probably the player caves in, or this potentially does drag out into the season.
