Progression of a Record – Receiving yards, game336 – Willie “Flipper” Anderson, L.A. Rams vs. New Orleans Saints, Nov. 26, 1989309 – Stephone Paige, Kansas City Chiefs vs. san Diego Chargers, Dec. 22, 1985303 – Jim Benton, Cleveland Rams vs. Detroit Lions, Nov. 22, 1945237 – Don Hutson, Green Bay Packers vs. Brooklyn Dodgers, Nov. 21, 1943213 – Wilbur Moore, Washington Redskins vs. Brooklyn Dodgers, Oct. 31, 1943209 – Don Hutson , Green Bay Packers vs. Cleveland Rams, Oct. 8, 1942180 – Don Looney, Philadelphia Eagles vs. Washington redskins, Dec. 7, 1940160 – Wayne Millner , Washington Redskins vs. Chicago Bears, Dec. 12, 1937First, it would depend on your league's scoring system. Second, if you include any games (including the post season), I would think that the Flipper Anderson game has to be up there.
this is what? top receiving games by yards?I ask because Bruce has maybe 4-5 games that would be on this list thenProgression of a Record – Receiving yards, game336 – Willie “Flipper” Anderson, L.A. In a non-PPR league, I know Rice went for 51 pts in one game...must have been this one.It is what it is said:There is also a Rice game versus Atlanta (week 6) back in 1990. In this game Rice has 5 touchdown receptions, with his touchdown receptions alone equalling 120+ yards. I don't have the rest of the stats, but Joe Montana threw for 476 yards and 6 touchdowns in this game...so Rice could've easily had 200+ yards receiving in that game to go with those 5 touchdowns. It is what it is said:Jerry Rice 1995 (vs. Minnesota)Week 16 (Championship Game for most FF Leagues)14 Receptions289 Receiving Yards3 Touchdowns10 Rushing YardsDon't think you will find one better, considering the week Rice hit for FF players...
Looks to me like the chronological order of the record being broken. Flipper still leads the single game receiving yardage record, but I don't know how many TDs he had in that game so I don't know where it ranks from an FF perspective.this is what? top receiving games by yards?I ask because Bruce has maybe 4-5 games that would be on this list thenProgression of a Record – Receiving yards, game336 – Willie “Flipper” Anderson, L.A.
