It's right under "Who cares, McGahee is only an average RB anyway."Where's the choice for "Who cares, as long as it's not Buffalo?"
Those are the same thing. It's right under "Who cares, McGahee is only an average RB anyway."Where's the choice for "Who cares, as long as it's not Buffalo?"
concur.I really see him in Baltimore playing with fellow Canes Ed Reed and Ray Lewis. This seems like the best fit both on the field and as far as keeping him motivated I think those guys have the potential to get the most out of him.
Working under this assumption, if McGahee does end up in Balt, how would that effect his ranking? top 5?Baltimore should win this going away.
You're a class act for sure.He has become a PR nightmare. 3 Paternity filings? How many other's waiting to happen when he signs a new $$ contract?
TO aleast performs all the time. Willis only performs with the ladies!
As for his destination, I see Balt as the most likely spot, but I would like see him land in GB and with their poor OL, watch him tear his knee again!

You should read more.People are THAT certain that there will be a trade for McGahee? I haven't seen enough to support this level of confidence.

Here's one of many.Baltimore SunYou should read more.People are THAT certain that there will be a trade for McGahee? I haven't seen enough to support this level of confidence.to the article that has everyone convinced at a 2:1 ratio thinking that McGahee ends up Baltimore over Buffalo.
I agree with this viewI think that he'll end up back in Buffalo for the last year of his contract, bad blood and all. He'll probably be great for the first half of the season and then terrible the second half as he tries not to get hurt before FA. The Bills aren't going to be able to get anything in return for him so they won't trade him. Besides, they don't have ANYONE to replace him right now. They'd have to sign Anthony Thomas again or make a serious play for Dominic Rhodes both as stopgaps. It would also pretty much force them to draft a RB. They'd either have to look at Lynch at the 12 spot or hope that they could get someone like Antonio Pittman in the second round.
I respect the local opinion, but I was told I should "read more". The article you linked was blurbed on Rotoworld and says nothing more than the Ravens are "interested" in discussing a trade for McGahee. Hardly anything close to a sure thing. But good to know the talk. Here's one of many.Baltimore SunYou should read more.People are THAT certain that there will be a trade for McGahee? Understand that many here are from either Buffalo or the Baltimore area (). The talk is mostly about Willis here, with some smidge of Corey Dillon.
I'm sure anyone trading for Willis will be offering a new contract.I agree with this viewI think that he'll end up back in Buffalo for the last year of his contract, bad blood and all. Is he that much better than the FAs out there, not to mention available RBs in the draft to pair with Smith?
Haha.... you know sometimes pretty much all the time I fail to think of the obvious.I'm assuming a McGahee + Rosenhaus + Newsome contract negotiation is gonna be a toughie, especially with the large disparity of McGahee's performance to his self-percieved performance has been.I'm sure anyone trading for Willis will be offering a new contract.I agree with this viewI think that he'll end up back in Buffalo for the last year of his contract, bad blood and all. The contract is the reason I'd be surprised if the trade with the Ravens gets done. They'd be crazy to give up a high pick and pay him the Portis-type money he's asking for.Haha.... you know sometimes pretty much all the time I fail to think of the obvious.I'm assuming a McGahee + Rosenhaus + Newsome contract negotiation is gonna be a toughie, especially with the large disparity of McGahee's performance to his self-percieved performance has been.I'm sure anyone trading for Willis will be offering a new contract.I agree with this viewI think that he'll end up back in Buffalo for the last year of his contract, bad blood and all. If Donahoe was still the GM I'd say there'd be no way the Bills would have the backbone to leave McGahee sitting at home. But with Levy as the GM? I think that he would possibly do that if the right trade wasn't there.I would prefer the Bills front office to ignore this whole thing and fine McGahee while he sits the year, but I don't think they have the guts to do it.
