Where is the Ravens vs. Patriots thread? Oh, here it is (1 Viewer)

Honestly, I am surprised Baltimore is running it so well. Even though Baltimore has had success against NE in the playoffs, I thought Baltimore would have a had tough time moving the ball, and NE would win a lower-scoring game. The way this is going has really surprised me.

I'm not a pats fan whatsoever but bad call on revis. Smith pushed off at the end (which coincidently was when the flag was tossed). Brady combined irk the refs just gifted Baltimore the lead.
Smith's push off came long after Revis arm barred him out of the way. Easy call.
As if the blatantly arm bar wasn't enough, Revis also grabbed him with that same arm. One of the most obvious PIs you will ever see.
if it was so obvious why did they replay it 4 times?
This might be the dumbest question I've seen here today.
you very rarely see PI called when the defender has his head turned toward the ball. There definitely was hand checking going on by Revis, but it was also being returned by Smith. It's a big call to make there. Basically giving Baltimore 3 or 7 points.

This defense was made for Baltimore to run. Forsett is an edge rusher, NE's line is centered toward plugging the run on the interior but is designed for undersized ends to rush on pass plays. Baltimore has no need to run inside while NE has no size to slow down the outside linemen.

The crew isn't calling PI on that side of the field so maybe its on one particular ref because he didn't call the obvious PI earlier in the game that should have gone against NE and he let C.J. get away with that one on Gronk.

Good non call. Looked just like that play in the 2nd quarter where a bit of contact was made with Owen Daniels on 3rd down, but no flag. Calling it the same both ways.

Gronk left arm was restricted from movement courtesy of the db. That's pi without a doubt.
