Where was Cooley yesterday? (1 Viewer)

One of his intercepted passes I'm pretty sure was meant for Cooley but he didn't do much this week. Too soon to give up on him Next week against the Eagles linebackers

he should bounce back.

See thread regarding Jansen. Cooley will be asked to block a lot more than usual - guy's also played a bit of lead blocking FB and will be doing that a lot.

I think the 'skins O is going to be heavy Portis and Betts with high perecentage shots downfield. Not as much mid-range stuff. Then again, Cooley's major fantasy worth is as a GL threat, not as a mid-field receiver. If the 'phions get into a lot of 3rd and long, Cooley will get his receiving numbers - as he has done the last two years. This year, though, I don;t expect to see that quite as much.

Cooley was targeted on the first pass of the day - Campbell forced the ball and got it picked off. I think that scared Jason away from Captain Chaos a bit.

Cooley also spent a large amount of time blocking on Jason Taylor yesterday. And overall, the Skins simply didn't pass that much.

I think Cooley will have some big games down the road, but he'll have some stinkers like this too. Probably more 3/25 games than 6/75.
