2 QB League with a 5 maximum roster limit. I have Brees, Carr and Winston locked in (but 2 of them are now banged up)

Which 2 of these guy would you fill your final 2 spots with?

B. Hundley

J. Brissett

C.J. Beathard

J. Garoppolo

(I've had Garo rostered since last year just waiting to see what happens with him this coming offseason, but I may no longer have the option to wait? I drafted Hundley this offseason but then had to cut him the week Carr was hurt and Brees on Bye and that's when I picked up Brisset - now I'm not sure which 2 I want!)

I am "Mostly" concerned with overall carreer upside here, but possible points this season could be a factor as well if Winston and Carr aren't able to roll.

I would go with Hundley and Brissett.  I think you get the best of both worlds this way.  I am tempted to go with Garoppolo over Brissett but I think the playing time that Brissett is getting this year swings it in his direction.  Hundley has been groomed slowly and still has great weapons at his disposal.  He will be fine moving forward this year.  I would probably have him as a top 15 QB from this point on for this year.

The good part of stashing these two is you get to see what you have so if they flame out it is easy to move on.  A guy like Garoppolo is always a what if guy.  You really have no idea if he can play or not.  Everybody thinks he can so you always hang on to that potential that may never come.  That is why I like going with the two guys playing.

I don't include Beathard because I think the other guys are in a better situation (Hundley for sure and at least Brissett has Hilton).

Definitely Hundley for this year, but if you are talking strictly dynasty , Rodgers isn't going away anytime soon as long as he heals properly.

I think Beathard is in the better situation long term.  San Fran doesn't have anybody better.  They may draft someone next year, but you know Green Bay is going to have Rodgers (again, assuming health)

In a dynasty, I'd go with Beathard and Garoppolo.  Brady ain't playing forever, I don't care how many talking heads want to slob all over how he's doing unbelieveable incredible fantastic mindblowing unheard of superfreaking orgasmic things at age 40.  All signs point to Garoppolo being the guy, and I'd guess it's within the next 2-3 years.

Hundley isn't unseating Rodgers, and Rodg still has several years ahead of him so I'd be hesitant on Hundley beyond this year.  Same with Brissett, although Luck is more injury prone so he could have some spot usage here and there in the future.

Until next year when Cousins comes in as a free agent.

It's possible but it's a Hell of a lot better bet that Beathard is starting next year than Hundley.

I would agree with that.  Hundley could audition this year and be moved if he impresses and you get to utilize him if need be as well.  Granted Breathard is also getting use but Hundley is in a much better team situation.  Fact is none of these guys is likely a factor in the near term so getting to see guys play as you stash them helps give you an idea of whether they are worth keeping or not.
