Which expert's projections do you use for each position? Do you trust one expert over the other depending on the NFL position or do you just use one expert's projections for all positions across the board?

I use my own, but I think the cumulative rankings from FBG are helpful to see how players are trendings...also gives me an idea where plaeyrs will go in my draft since our league heavily relies on FBG rankings.

If you put a gun to my head and I had to choose one person's projections rankings it would be Henry's

People should be reminded that the rankings are based on projections, not where you should draft players.

I do my own as well but do use FBG's as a jumping off point. Trying to get an idea if one expert is considered better at a particular position then another. I think there was a statistical analysis done back in '07 by a poster but curious on people's viewpoints.

I pay attention to all of our expert's projections.

Here is a link to see how David Dodds compared to the rest of the industry according to Fantasy Pros Metric:

David landed second among all fantasy pros according to their metric during 2010, and he was the best RB projector of all experts surveyed.

Thanks Mark. Is that based on weekly projections? Or projections for the season? I'm interested in the accuracy of seasonal projections.

I believe that the year-end at Fantasy Pros is a composite of the various projectors' week-to-week accuracy, so that composite represents a full seasons' worth of projections. Part of the difficulty in assessing a set of seasonal projections (from before the season happens, if I am following your last sentence in the post) is how does one account for the variability caused by injuries? This is a problem that has been discussed at length on this board over the years...

Anyway, you can read through Fantasy Pro's metric on the site and see if it is useful for what you are asking about.

"Other" for all of them. I do what I suspect many of us do - I look at them all (they're often extremely close), factor in my own opinion/feelings/gut, and make a decision.

That's a cool site, and I'm glad to know it's out there (bookmarked)...but the fact that the top 20 are separated by less than 3% is about all you need to know.ETA - I blend all FBG projections via PD, and import into DD. I also do some funky things on my own to normalize for specific leaguemate tendencies.
