Scoring System could change some of this, but generally speaking...Maualuga's a no-brainer for me, although there's a slim (and I mean slim) risk that Dhani Jones will just refuse to die and let him have the MLB slot. That said I'd say 85% that RM is the MIKE in Cincy next year.

I'm sure you'll get folks that will speak of Johnson's "talent" relative to his price, but I ain't holding my breath waiting for him to get a shot in KC.

I like Cooper's price tag, but so far in his "breakout" year he ain't broke much. If you can spare the extra 6 bucks I'd rather have Mayo, but I wouldn't hamstring myself over him.

Does anyone have any insight as to why Mayo was so unimpressive this year? Did he never fully recover from the early season injury? Did the lack of defensive talent on the Pats this year simply leave him exposed? Or is he just not as good as his rookie year seemed to imply? I haven't been able to figure him out.

I haven't followed the Pats closely, but the loss of some very good linemen, especially in a 3-4, will always spell trouble for LB's who will encounter more traffic when flowing to the ball.
