Which of these mid-round RBs holds the most value (1 Viewer)

I think these rounds are where you will win your championship this year.

How do you rank the following guys to get you there? (Assume you already have your RB1 and RB2)

Michael Bush

Reggie Bush

Darren McFadden

Hardesty

Spiller

Bradshaw

Fred Jackson

Ricky Williams

Donald Brown

Arian Foster

Portis

Maroney

Harrison

If we are talking redraft I go with M.Bush I think it's only a matter of time before he takes over the full time duties from McFadden and the Raiders have a pretty nice schedule. I always liked Bush I just think he never got the chance to be the main guy and if he gets the shot this year I think he is going to be a very good number two rb. I do see any of the guys on this list landing in the top 12.

Ahmad Bradshaw is taking the majority of first-team tailback reps at Giants camp, ahead of Brandon Jacobs. Both the NY Daily News and Newark Star-Ledger have observed Bradshaw getting the first crack in every drill. Though Jacobs has reportedly shown improved burst, he is clearly in danger of losing his "starting" job. We're not sure it's a coaching staff trick after Bradshaw outplayed Jacobs all last year. Now completely healthy, Bradshaw could flirt with 14-17 touches a game if he opens the regular season as a first-teamer. Confidently move him up your rankings into the high-end RB3 range.
He has the swagger back from his rookie season from everything I have read. At worst he splits 50/50. At best he is the starter. Not bad for a RB3.

Assuming I have a solid RB1/2, something like Turner and Grant, I want upside here.

the guys with the most upside and the best chance of reaching it in redraft (IMO) are:

Michael Bush

Reggie Bush

Spiller

Bradshaw

Donald Brown

Harrison

I'll lean towards Brown or one of the Bushes.

I am not sold on Reggie Bush as having upside - he's just not an everydown back. Maybe in PPR.Michael Bush could be decent.Spiller is a on a bad team with a bad O-line. I'll pass unless its dynasty.Bradshaw is who I think has the most upside. He has looked great so far and is 100% healthy. I think he has top 20 RB upside easily.

Remember Bush wasn't healthy coming into the season last year and then became a force down the stretch. Supposedly he's healthy now and in PPR I don't see how you can discount him.Now him staying healthy is another all together different subject but with any RB you take on that risk.

Good thread and the variety of responses is exactly why there is such a large group of RBs available that could really strengthen your team. You just have to choose wisely.

Personally I like Reggie Bush, Michael Bush, and Harrison..... will take Maroney very late, but I do not believe that he will have the opportunity that the previous listed players will.

Portis is a great RB3 IMO. That team is gonna run the hell out of the ball and Portis is still the most talented RB on that roster. I also think Bradshaw will be very good. And Harrison was so good last yr Im surprised hes going so late.

Curiously absent from your list is Marion Barber - I think he is THE mid-round RB to target this year. But among the backs you've listed I prefer Bradshaw, M. Bush and Foster. I'm especially intrigued by Foster, who is still under the radar for some people.

That's pretty high praise for Barber. Your not worried about the other two backs eating into his touches?

At this point in the year I am steering clear of the following...

All buffalo players including RBs

Cleveland RBBC

Seattle RBBC

and also the Dallas RB situation (if it were later in the preseason and I knew who would get the majority this might change)

I am confident that Bradshaw is in the best situation out of those above.

I automatically think PPR, too many of my leagues are. I'm not saying I love Spiller's chances, but if Fred Jackson can be a top 15 RB so can Spiller.

I just see Bradshaw going higher than I'd take him, negating some of that upside.

MB3 could be a decent play here too.

I think Barber represents a definite value in the middle rounds. Sure he'll be in a committee - all the backs on the OP's list likely will be. But he's healthy now, and I think he'll be a beast in the red zone this year. No one knows if Felix can shoulder the load of a larger role in the offense - Barber has already shown that he can. Not saying he will return to RB1 status, but I certainly like his potential as a mid-round pick more than any of the other players on the above list.

He went 6.08. Sounds about right.I grabbed Bradshaw at 7.01.
