Which rounds do you draft IDP's? (1 Viewer)

This is the first year our league is adding an IDP to the starting roster. For those who have done this in the past what rounds do the top players start coming off the board?

Just depends, a lot of time you can feel it coming. Rosters start to fill up and the talent pool is dwindling, I jumped on the 10th round this year.

I think what he's looking for is a range... they are usually drafted very late. Even a mega-star high-scoring player like JJ Watt is not a value according to VBD until the 8th/9th... and he's a severe outlier. They just don't score that much more relative to each other. It's sort of like QBs but taken even further and even flatter. They should be the last people you take to fill out your roster after you have all your offensive starters and multiple sleepers.

Thanks Phenomena I should have been specific - was wondering if you draft them late like kickers and DST so you answered my question.. I have had no experience with IDPs in any leagues...

Biggest variable is the scoring system. I play in a league where the top LBs will score right up there with mid range RBs and WRs. I will start drafting IDPs a lot earlier in that league than I will in leagues where they don't score as much.

#1 rule - always know your scoring system.
