Which type of rankings would you use to draft? (1 Viewer)

12 team, keep 7 players every year no penalty. Draft has leftover players plus all incoming rookies.

Question is which type of cheatsheet rankings would you use (or lean more towards): regular 2023 rankings or Dynasty rankings? Thanks. Will try to help in return.

I am in a keeper league that keeps 15 year to year plus up to 6 players on a TS (3-yr max on the TS) out of 45 man rosters (full IDP). I use a hybrid approach where I take info from redraft and dynasty and come up with my own cheatsheet. I do this mainly because I look in 2 yr windows for my evaluations and neither approach hits that window. Dynasty is usually too future looking so I want to dampen that some with a skew towards redraft to hit my window.

in a situation like this try to take advantage of people valuing youth so much and don't pass win now pieces. kinda on the same wavelength as gally. inevitable some people will value youth to an extreme degree. when it comes to drafting that means pretty good deals on guys that might help ya win the whole thing in year 1/2/3. post-draft and in following years you can also sell high on hope from rookies (though the hopium is most strong in devy leagues) and keep adding win now pieces and pretty much have a 5-8 year run as a contender. not always. depends on leaguemates. try to not stick to a rigid ranking system. only 7 keepers so every year you can remain a contender and still replenish after keepers. prolly tons of value in later rounds. likely moreso than standard redrafts
