Footballguy
Just want to see how different it is from league to league with different scoring.

My league goes like this:

1. James Harrison-117

2. Lawrence Timmons-113

3. James Anderson-111

4. Jerod Mayo-108

5. Derrick Johnson-108

6. Ray Lewis-106

7. London Fletcher-101.5

8. Patrick Willis-100.50

Those are all the LB in my league over 100 points. The same owner has BOTH Timmons and Harrison in our league too.

In my league it goes:

1. Jerod Mayo - 207

2. Chad Greenway - 196

3. Lawrence Timmons - 193

4. James Harrison - 191

5. James Anderson - 191

6. Patrick Willis - 188

7. Derrick Johnson - 181

8. Ray Lewis - 180

I was kind of shocked to see Greenway there to he honest.

1) James Harrison 11.68 (avg)

2) Lawrence Timmons 10.92

3) Jerod Mayo 10.77

4) James Anderson 10.70

5) Chad Greenway 10.61

6) Ray Lewis 10.22

7) Paul Posluszny 10.20

8) Clay Matthews 10.12

It seems that regardless of scoring (big play, tackle heavy, etc) the same names seem to be popping up on these lists.

Greenway has been getting a ton of tackles this season and leads the NFC. No one seems to notice because of the Favre-mania every week but the guy should make the Pro Bowl. Unfortunately, a 4-3 OLB has very little chance and Briggs seems to be the lone 4-3 OLB who seems to get in every year.

High-scoring, big play league:

1. Jerod Mayo - 397.5 pts

2. Lawrence Timmons - 370.5 pts

5. Patrick Willis - 344.5 pts

6. James Harrison - 336.5 pts

7. Stephen Tulloch - 334 pts

A more conservative big play league:

3. Patrick Willis - 196 pts

4. James Anderson - 195 pts

5. Patrick Willis 81

6. Chad Greenway 81

7. Lawrence Timmons 79

8. Curtis Lofton 77

6 points for FF, sack, int, TD. 1 point for tackle, .75 for ast. tackle.

I went with stats accumulated only when owners started the player, not just total player points.

# Player Total Starter Points # Games Avg

1. Harrison, James PIT LB 113.5 10 11.350

2. Timmons, Lawrence PIT LB 112 10 11.200

3.0 Sack, 1.5 1/2 sack, 3.0 blocked kick, 4.0 Safety

109.2 Harrison, James PIT LB

107.5 Timmons, Lawrence PIT LB

105.5 Mayo, Jerod NEP LB

103.3 Anderson, James CAR LB

102.7 Lewis, Ray BAL LB

98.0 Willis, Patrick SFO LB

95.5 Greenway, Chad MIN LB

95.5 Johnson, Derrick KCC LB

Any league with a high amount of points toward assist tackle should have Mayo listed pretty heavily.

He is on pace to finish with 42 assists in just his HOME games this season.

I own Mayo in my league and at 0.5 pts per assist his home scorekeeper helps me out a lot when they are at home!

# Player Pts Avg

Patrick Willis 96.75

London Fletcher 96.04

I actually didnt realize how good of a year Mayo and Fletcher were having until I looked at this a couple days ago. We start 2 LBs in my league and my rotations has been Lofton (#10 LB, my go to LB on draft day the last 2 years), Tulloch (#11 LB), and Posluszny (#17 LB).

You cant just go by that though, and props to Slevin, because Posluszny is the guy not on any of these total points lists who pretty much should be. He's #6 in my league in pts/game, and #3 in solos/game (he's got 7.5, Mayo at #1 has 7.9). Only 1 game with less than 6 solos or 8 fantasy points all year.

My 2 leagues:

Tackle Heavy (2 per tackle, 1 per assist):

Less Emphasis on Assists (2 per tackle/.5 per assist):

7. 57. Johnson, Derrick KCC LB 179.5 16.32

8. 59. Tulloch, Stephen TEN LB 177.0 16.09

Did through week 11 since Willis hasn't played yet this week:

1. Mayo - 281.5 (league's #1 overall)

2. Greenway - 245.0

3. Anderson - 236.1

4. Timmons - 235.5

5. Tulloch - 233.1

6. Willis - 232.5

7. Fletcher - 230.5

8. Lewis - 227.9

Our league is mostly tackle heavy (including assists), but gives pts for INT & FR return yardage at 1pt/5yds, so turnover return TD's are huge points.

ETA: One owner (12 team league) owns Greenway, Tulloch & Lewis. I own none.
