Who Do You Take - Rookie 4 pick (1 Viewer)

The 4 pick in the rookie draft was a sweet place to be with many choices as guys fell the the draft spot... but now, not so much. Assuming Ingrim, AJ and Julio go top 3 who do you like at 4? The box will be stacked in Miami with Thomas getting poor grades, Cam is intriguing, but come on... Little could be the guy but is up and down in camp/preseason reviews. Do you take a flier on Hunter/Carter? Anybody want my pick??? It has the same value as the 8 pick :) Who do you like and why?

#4 was reserved for Ryan Williams. Now that he's on the shelf with a serious injury I think #4 has to be Greg Little or Randall Cobb if it's a PPR. If non-ppr I wouldn't argue with Kendall Hunter. I think D Thomas will be a bust and 1.4 is too high to take a TE (Kendricks) unless it's at least 1.5 ppr for TE. It's also too high to take the injured RBs, even in dynasty. Too much risk with them long term.

#4 pick..? easy...

5-7 got difficult

Little, Thomas, Williams and Leshoure were the 4/5/6/7 picks (in no particular order). With the injuries to Williams and Leshoure, and Reggie Bush to Miami holding off Thomas, Little is the easy choice for #4

Who are the 5-7 picks? That's a better question...

Does Randall Cobb have an elite level ceiling or is it the next Donald Driver type? He seems like a good all around talent for the Packers, but if you're swinging for the dynasty fences due to the lack of top-end talent in the draft, is Cobb really your guy? Who are the highest ceiling guys after the murky 1.04/5 area?

Cobb's ceiling is plenty high enough.

I'm going to echo the consensus of Little at 4 and Cobb at 5. After those two, I don't really see any appreciable difference between the guys going 6th and the guys going 12th or possibly even 16th.

I would consider Helu over Cobb.
I make a habit of never drafting mediocre RBs with limited upside in the top half of the first round simply due to a dearth of perceived competition. 4th round NFL picks have a place in rookie drafts, but that place isn't "top 5 draft pick".Edit: especially when the only noise said 4th round pick has made to date is his failed attempt to beat out Tim Hightower (!!!!!!!!!) for the starting position. Remember, a failure to beat out Tim Hightower was the first sign we had that Beanie Wells was going to be a bust, too. And Beanie Wells was a much better prospect.

Cobb just went undrafted in our rookie draft. I think people assume there is too much ahead of him there. I was a little surprised. He only seems to get the love here at FBGs, is the only thing I can think of.
