Who has sold Moss since the trade? (1 Viewer)

Just moved him and Sjax for Gore, Harvin, and Barber

anyone else move Moss on the news? What are you able to get in return?

 
I bought him

Gave up Torain and Malcom Floyd to a team that needed rb's

Floyd was my top reciever

 
He was traded in one of my redraft leagues this morning:

Randy Moss/Marques Colston for Jeremy Maclin/Peyton Hillis

Team that traded for Moss/Colston needed another WR and Hillis was the 4th RB.

 
got miles austin for him.

we both agreed to nix the trade if we wanted because this came out of nowhere, but we decided to do the trade anyway.

I personally like Austin better than Moss this year and for future and he thinks Moss will be better than Miles in Minny.

Seems fair. still unsure :unsure:

I sold Moss, Green-Ellis, and Moreno for Hillis and Ricky Williams. It's a 12 team non-ppr redraft league, 2/2/flex, so I always play 3 RB's

 
In a 12 team dynasty league, I sold Moss and Brady for Matt Ryan, Percy Harvin, and Ryan Matthews...Figured I would take the opportunity to get my team younger.

Nice trade seems like u got good value here even though i couldnt be higher on moss right now.
 
I got an offer of C.J. Spiller after the trade, I declined and he followed up with Sam Bradford.... and I declined.

I've got no desire to sell... I expect fantastic results for the rest of the year.

 
Frankly I expect better than what I expected before the trade, but I began to really think this would not be the slam dunk it appears to be. The pairing of Moss and Favre couldn't be better, but I think people are naturally thinking of Moss and Favre last year. Moss looks about the same but Favre looks a LOT different.

I thought it was best to sell on the hype given that people's eye's turned to saucers when this happened. I think you have to demand at least one player with potential first-round value for the rest of the year, but what I saw from Moss at the end of last year and the beginning of this one has not been encouraging.

 
was already discussing with Moss owner when trade went down, we waited for the smole to clear and made it official a few hours ago...Moss for Boldin straight up.

I offered M.Williams (TB), M.Clayton and B.Tate for him. He'd join Andre Johnson and Greg Jennings as my complete WR corp.

After reading the offers in here though, I'm thinking I might be paying too much. Sheesh.

 
Minny homer in my league told me he wanted Moss after he got traded.

I offered Moss, Torain, and Clayton for Marshall, Charles, Roethlisberger.

Im thinking he'll decline it, but what makes it closer IMO is that:

-Marshall is his #2 WR behind Andre, plus Clayton actually has more pts than Marshall thus far.

-After his top 2 wr's, he's got nothing, so getting that 3rd WR helps him a lot

-He is/was a Portis owner

-His other 4 best RBs are Charles, TJones, Ronnie, and Ricky. Maybe its just me, but I wouldnt want 2 complete duos.

-His other QB is Vick (and Kolb. I expect Vick back sooner rather than later though)

Again, I think at first glance, and expecially based on names, its really in my favor, but I think its reasonable.

 
The thing about owning Moss and sticking with him is it takes an awfully strong stomach. Constant rumors swirling about his "happiness", putting up with nights like last MNF, the way he'll quit on plays, etc. Make a decent offer and see what happens. That being said I would decline your offer there. I think you need to bring more real value.

ETA that was to frank not kenny.

Kenny you're killing that trade by asking for Roeth. Take him and Clayton out.

I was thinking about going this route (trying to get Moss).I've got Best, Turner, Snelling, Foster, Torain, and Thomas Jones at RB.Have Austin, Jennings, and Maclin at WR.Can only start two at each position, so I'm stupid loaded at RB. Jennings has been inconsistent and I'm willing to take a chance.The owner who has Moss has no one at RB, so that's where the deal is to be made. Thinking that maybe Best is too much seeing these trades though...
 
Dealt him and a 3rd for S. Smith(CAR), Garcon and a 1st in a 10 team dynasty...

Already had Peterson and Harvin on my roster, didn't really want to be THAT Vikings heavy...

 
I offered to give Michael Crabtree for Randy Moss in a dynasty league. Owner has a team that won't contend anyway, so it may work.

I was thinking the same thing (buying Moss). 14 team ppr. I have Andre, Fitz, and Nicks. DeAngelo, Jahvid, Hillis and Michael Bush. The owner who has Moss also has DMac as his 2 and Maroney as his 3 so he is thin at RB (besides CJ as his 1). I offered Fitz and Bush for Moss and he declined. He wanted Best or DeAngelo for Moss. I would consider than bc I know I could turn around and grab Gates for Fitz but I'd sacrificing significant depth at RB. Plus the fact that he knows I made him a good offer with Bush and Fitz considering his situation (he also has Boldin, Collie & Holmes). Kid has to negotiate plus he probably is expecting to rip someone else off so why accept a fair trade that was proposed to him. :coffee: Were also both perennial top 5 teams and it's just tough for piranhas to eat each other I guess.
 
This trade happened in my league.

Team #1 Peterson, Law Firm, Mike Williams SEA

Team #2 Moss, Collie, Tony Gonzalez.

Team #1 has no recievers except Desean Jackson to play worth anything. And he has Rb's for a mile.

I don't know if its a good trade border line in my opinion

 
I guess I value him a lot more than other owners I laughed at all the offers I recieved

Floyd straight up for Moss

Maclin/Mike Williams for Moss

It would take a top 5ish rb for me to give him up
