What are they going to do, look at his HS tapes?Keep in mind the defenses will now be preparing for him, it could make a difference.OK, good point about a week to prepare, of course, he had time to prep in the pre-season and definitely didn't look as good as he did last week. Doubtful that Bill was putting a whole lot of time into gameplanning in the pre-season though. We're pretty much on the same page with regards to our projections. I was wondering if people were expecting anything more from him than simply being "serviceable".... I think hoping for a TD this week is a fair expectation, with anything more being gravy. This is like expecting a guy to have the same results in a fight when comparing him getting blindsided with a right hook or him having a week to prepare for the fight. Given a week to prepare and adapt the offense to his strengths I think Cassell will do alright. I'd imagine the Pats were just in shock and were playing it extremely conservatively after losing Brady. I'd personally expect something decent but not great.. prob Tier 3 numbers this week... something around 200-225 yards for 1-2 TDs. He's got enough talent around him that he'll be able to move the ball on that merit alone. The thing I am trying to figure out is what are people expecting out of Cassel? Based on game one, Brady passed 11 times for 76 yards in the first two series which lasted barely through half of the first quarter, while Cassel had 18 attempts for 152 yards in the remaining 3 1/2 quarters of play.Seems like Cassel won't be throwing too much if last week is any indication. Any reason to expect more than 20-25 attempts for 180 - 200 yards and maybe a TD? Seems to me that is what you can hope to get out of the guy, and if that is the case, you should only start him if you think that is the best you can do at QB this week.
