Who is your favorite player in the NFL? (1 Viewer)

can't believe noone's mentioned chris johnson... ronnie brown's also a fav of mine.
2 years ago I would have said Johnson, but after a guy has been a great player for a few years it losses a little bit of the excitement for me. I prefer risers who haven't quite proved it yet, but show massive potential. That's why I like Charles, Freeman, McCoy, and I have a feeling A.J. Green is about to jump in there for me.

i think i like captain destructo claymaker clay matthews the best because he is a wildman beserker and atually looks like a real viking not a fake one from mn and he singehandedly made wisco forget about bryce paup

James Harrison.

Why is everyone so shocked a guy who makes his living murdering wideouts and running backs in the open field happens to be a pretty angry guy? He lights a guy up on the field and people love him, but the moment he articulates that same attitude in an interview people are aghast, calling him dumb and outrageous... "Oh my goodness, he used an 'anti-gay slur!'"

Is everyone insane? Harrison's as much of a loadmouth and a hothead as a million losers out there in weight rooms and NRA meetings that don't have a speck of the cred he's earned. Watch him on a football field. No friends, #92 in the black and gold isn't out there to earn his doctorate! We're honestly shocked that hidden underneath all that Sunday rage isn't the next President Obama.

Call Harrison stupid for being honest with a reporter, fine, there's some perverse sense to that. But the only difference between him and millions of other carnivore football players you've seen interviews of is that Harrison had the gall to be his actual self.

Anyways, James Harrison is now my favourite football player, he is not on my fantasy team (yet), and I'm a fan of the New England Patriots.

Polamalu is an insane beastly killer on the gridiron. He barely speaks off the field. If Harrison is angry, it's not because of his profession. It's because we all have unique personalities.

Marvin Harrison barely spoke off the field, except for with his gun (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4359721). I don't know Troy Polamalu personally and neither do you, and if he one of the few anecdotes of true 'character' guys in the NFL, good for him. But Harrison is representative of the culture of the sport, and all this 'outrage' at his comments strikes me as naive and deeply hypocritical.

Your point about Harrison was that his "Sunday rage" manifested itself in Monday-Saturday rage as well. How does Marvin Harrison fit into this? He was an expressionless robot on the field.

Ray Rice- I loved this guy coming into the league and he has become my favorite player. I'm expecting him to have a huge year and think he will be the #1 RB in PPR this year with Cam giving him more goal line work.

I'm a suffering Dolphins fan but for me it's Eric Berry. He's a VFL, a phenomenal talent, and a great kid. Go VOLS!!!

Ndamukong Suh. Would trade pretty much any player to have him on my team.

Except he's so freakin fat. What a fat-###.

Even though I'm a die hard Bears fan...Steve Smith (Carolina) is my favorite player. I would love to see the Bears get aggressive and make a trade for Mighty Mouse!!
