Who to drop for gillislee (1 Viewer)

.5 ppr, keeper league

Need to pick one to drop: (if any)

Will have to give up my #3 waiver spot (not sure if it's worth it, depends on how serious McCoy's hamstring injury is, I've heard conflicting reports)

Dixon or deandre washington

Neither are my starters, and I'm not sure I will even start gillislee, but if mccoy is out for a extended period of time I may with bye weeks coming up my starting rbs are david johnson, gurley,  demarco murray.   I'm leaning dropping washington since he had his shot the past couple of weeks and didn't do much with it, and lat. Murray should be back soon, see more upside with dixon long term (though west has been playing well), appreciate your opinions

Cut Wash over Dixon, but I wouldn't even do the transaction at all. Gill's not worth the grab with the RB's you already have, you won't start him anyway (All 3 starters have diff Bye's - or do you actually start 3???). Wait for a WR to use your "priority"

If you start 3 and really do need to get a RB, then yea, Washington is the drop I think. I agree with you, he had his shot. You won;t want to start him this year at all.

How many keepers?  If neither Dixon or Washington would make your keeper list then I would drop Dixon because he won't have any value this year due to how West is playing and how obviously hurt he still is.  Washington didn't get his "shot" and fail.  The Raiders use a rotation and like all their RB's so it's a split time situation.  Washington at least gets consistent touches so he could be an emergency start if need be.

Gillislee could be a nice pick up depending on the McCoy situation.  I have heard anywhere from playing this week to out multiple weeks.  No way to tell.  At this point in the season I don't really know if there will be a guy that jumps on the scene that will be a must have.  If McCoy is out multiple weeks I think this is as good of a pickup as you will see.  However, a RB isn't your biggest need so I would temper based on that.  Overall, with the unknowns and need for a WR I would probably pass.

Hmmm, I missed the keeper part (I didn't really mean Wash had a "Shot" so much as I think he's shown he won't be anything more than a committee member THIS year)

Keeper makes it even less appealing to drop one of those guys for Gill

We start 2 rbs, but I play a 3rd in my flex, I'm a little light at wr with moncrief out.  My wrs are: jeffery, cooks, t.williams, beasley (bye), moncrief (injured)

Just saw mccoy is dressed at practice and warming up and stretching with team,  probably will wait until end of day to decide
