My auction league is a bit different. We draft college players on a rolling basis before our league draft (and before they enter the NFL). We also do keepers (3 max including players rolled from the college draft). Players that we draft in college we can get for $15 (out of a $200 draft cap) and can keep them for an additional $10/yr. Players that we draft out of the NFL universe we can keep for an additional $5/yr. For example, I drafted Saquon in college. I paid $15 for him last year. I can keep him for $25 this year (which I intend to do). I drafted Deshaun Watson for $1 his rookie year. I kept him for $6 last year and intend to keep him for $11 this year.
So I have one more keeper, and this is where I'm on the fence. My choices are:
Dalvin Cook ($35) - Draft Dominator suggests a price of $21
Amari Cooper ($25) - Draft Dominator suggests a price of $18
Miles Sanders ($15) - Draft Dominator suggests a price of $1
Don't keep any of them.
We start 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1Flex (QB/RB/WR/TE), 1DEF, 1PK.
Almost everyone starts a QB at flex which makes the top flight QB's more valuable. And top RB's almost always go for more than what my Draft Dominator suggests.
As you can see all three of the players listed above are priced higher than Draft Dominator suggests.
I would be interested to know if you think any of them are worth the price I'm going to pay for them or if I should just keep Saquon and DeShaun.
