I need help deciding who should be my 12th keeper in a 10 team PPR dynasty league.  Our starting lineup and my current keepers are:

QB Tom Brady

RB David Johnson

RB Todd Gurley

WR Davante Adams

WR Golden Tate

FLEX Bilal Powell (RB)

FLEX Brandon Marshall (WR)

OP Matthew Stafford (QB)

TE Jordan Reed

BENCH Ryan Tannehill (QB)

BENCH Corey Coleman (WR)

My candidates for 12th keeper are:

WR Tyler Lockett

TE Kyle Rudolph

WR Jeremy Maclin

WR John Brown

I think it's a decision between either Lockett or Rudolph.  Rudolph finished as the #3 TE last year and Jordan Reed is my starter, so I will probably need a backup TE.  Do I keep Rudolph?  Am I crazy for keeping 2 TEs in a 10 team league?  Your advice is appreciated.

I'd actually keep both Rudolph and Lockett and let Marshall go. I can't shake the feeling that Marshall on the Giants could go the way of Andre Johnson on the Colts. I think you'd be better off going younger and choosing between Lockett/Coleman/Rudolph as your 2nd flex.

ETA: If you are 100% on Marshall, then I'd prefer Rudolph over Lockett.

Rudolf, Maclin, Lockette, Brown. In that order.

Why are you keeping Tannehill in a start 1 QB, 10 team league?
I can flex a QB (Stafford in OP spot) and QBs are very difficult to get in this league.  There won't be any starters or prominent backups on the waiver wire.

That's my fault. Sorry. I didn't realize OP was a super flex spot. I thought it was like an IR or Protected type of spot. What does OP stand for?

Rudolph / Maclin / Brown / Lockett

1. Reed will miss games

2. Maclin takes old Steve Smith's place

3. Brown has more opportunities in the Ariz. passing game

4. Lockett is fourth, that's all

I would dump Marshall and keep Rudolph and Maclin.    If you have to keep Marshall, then go with Rudolph.  Excellent Reed insurance.

I am 100% opposed to this.  No way am I keeping Maclin.  He was the #1 WR for KC and did nothing, now he's going to be at best WR2/3 on his own team?  I'm keeping Marshall just for his red zone potential alone.

Gotta keep Rudolph given Reed's injury history.

Pretty hard to ding Maclin in KC....he was injured for much of it, KC was very conservative on offense and he had Alex Smith throwing him the ball.  What makes him the WR2 or 3 in BAL?  Perriman has done nothing and Wallace is a one-trick pony.  Pitta is gone, so goes Flacco's security blanket.  Maclin could easily catch 80 balls in BAL from a better QB.

Marshall's upside is severely capped by Beckham.  Beckham is probably going to get his 11-14 TDs again.  Where is the TD upside for Marshall?  Unless you think Eli is going to have a career year TD wise (32+ TDs), I can' see Marshall getting more than 7 TDs.

You don't think Marshall has TD upside? He's one of the biggest receivers in the league, has always been a red zone threat, has a competent QB again, and has Odell drawing the best coverage away. Eli threw 35 TDs in 2015, and has thrown at least 30 four different times, so expecting 32 from him is not expecting a career year.  And he's got arguably the best WRs he's ever had this year. Even if Odell gets 14 TDs (would be his career best), there's another 16+ to be had.  Not unreasonable with Marshall's red zone skills to think he'll get half of those.  You think Maclin will get 7 TDs in Baltimore?  I don't...

but now Flacco is hurt anyway, so maybe they bring in Kaep and he and Maclin go nuts, who knows.
