Who will be the #3 WR for the Cowboys? (1 Viewer)

This guy will probably be a #2 for most of the year given the starters' issues.

I watched the game Saturday night and I still don't have a clue (which you could probably say about me all the time).

The #3 is probably not on the roster. Beasley might well be the #1 and Ogletree the #2. The IR is deep in Dallas this year.

Early in camp it looked to be Andre Holmes, but while having great size/speed, he has skillets for hands.

Kevin Ogletree is the most experienced and played well in the pre-season. Cole Beasley was also impressive, and fits the role of the slot WR. Danny Coale has been injured and is lagging behind but also in the mix.

Cowboys WR's are a mess right now.

The depth chart right now is.....

Dez-Getting MRI on his knee today

Austin-Pulled hammy and out all pre-season. Likely for the opener.

Ogletree

Beasley

Holmes-Sore back

Coale-Has not played yet in pre season.

think the #3 guy just hurt his back.sleeper alert on #4 guy.
Plaxico Burress. He lowered his salary demands (is demands the right word?). I wouldn't be surprised if Dallas comes knocking. He's a great red zone guy, which is the role Laurent filled last year.

great information. Thank you, Sir.

I think it will be Ogletree but he won't help your fantasy team win, even if Dez and/or Miles is out.

Seriously. You have to fill the WR1 and WR2 spots before worrying about the WR3 spot.

With a healthy Austin and Witten, as well as a newly commited Dez, I was bullish on a potential career year for Romo. So much for that.

Not worried about this situation honestly.

Who was Miles Austin before Romo? No one. Barely made the team.

Laurent Robinson bounced around and was cut by the Chargers. Romo made him a multimillionaire. Everyone will see that he was a product of Romo.

Whoever ends up being the starter and 3rd string in Dallas will be a household name by the bye week. Romo is a lot better than people give him credit for.

I cant see Austin finishing the year healthy. Cole Beasley will be a stud this year. Poor man's Wes Welker. Guy was all over the field and really featured in the last preseason game and came away with some impressive numbers and a really impressive puking session.

Ogletree is not good.

Holmes makes the most sense as that would allow Austin to play the slot where he was effective.

Plax maybe?

I also heard Romo talking up Beasley, which can never be a bad thing.

Beasley has looked good but he is a slot WR, which is where Austin plays a lot. Holmes can play outside, Beasley can't and I think that will be why Holmes becomes the #3.

Ogletree will be productive if given the chance. He is 6 inches taller than Beasley so he will be the primary rz target if they get that far into the depth chart.
